Lakeview is a two bedroomed duplex Apartment situated within a converted Georgian property know as Colmer House which is set within 28 acres of grounds. The House was sympathically renovated and restored to its former glory in the mid-1990s and converted into a number of privately owned apartments. Lakeview is the centre left apartment at the front of the House, with a south facing aspect and wonderful views from its windows across the grounds towards the lake. The lounge doors lead directly to a large paved patio, surrounded by a balustrade wall which looks out over the immaculate lawns. The patio is private, sheltered and is furnished with a table and chairs. Whilst staying at Lakeview, guests have the full use of the excellent facilities of the Colmer Estate, free of charge and exclusively for the use of the Colmer Guests. These include an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, a tennis court, fishing lake, fitness suite, and woodland walks.
The open plan living room is furnished with a corner leather suite, a dining table seating four and with the well equipped kitchen located at the rear of the room. Entertainment is provided by a flatscreen freeview TV, DVD player, CD player and sound system, a selection of DVDs as well as the provision of Wi-Fi. French doors lead directly to a large paved patio, surrounded by a balustrade wall which looks out over the lawns towards the fishing lake. The patio is private and sheltered providing an ideal area for alfresco dining, and is furnished with a table and chairs. A separate laundry room is located by the indoor swimming pool.
The bedrooms are both located on the first floor and provide spacious accommodation.
Bedroom One is furnished with zip and link beds providing a super kingsize bed if required with bedside cabinets and sidelights and a large wardrobe. There is also a wall mounted freeview TV with DVD player with the south facing window overlooking the to the front.
Bedroom Two is furnished with a double bed with bedside cabinets and side lights and a wardrobe. a large south facing window offers views over the to the front of the House.
Located on the first floor, the bathroom comprises of a jacuzzi bath with a power shower and body jets, low level WC and a pedestal washbasin.
Leading from the lounge is a large paved patio, surrounded by a balustrade wall which looks out over the lawns towards the fishing lake. The patio is private and sheltered providing an ideal area for alfresco dining, and is furnished with a table and chairs. Guests also have free use of all the amenities on the site including the indoor and outdoor swimming pools as well as the fishing lake.
An allocated parking space is provided for one car.
