The Dubrovnik Riviera/Islands region
With 260 sunny days a year, this area is one of the sunniest in the Mediterranean. In the summer, air temperature is approximately 30 degrees and the sea temperature is around 25 degrees. The city of Dubrovnik is situated in the very south of the Republic of Croatia. It is surrounded by a group of islands known as the Elaphite archipelago. Dubrovnik, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is rich in cultural and historical monuments. There is also the annual Dubrovnik Summer Festival. The city is also the venue for numerous scientific, scholarly and literary conferences. The geographical position of the area is typical of a Mediterranean climate with mild and damp winters, and hot dry summers with quite low air humidity (approx. 2,600 sunny hours). There is a wealth of contrast with the many bays, beaches, steep cliffs and densely wooded islands.
Mlini / Srebreno area
About 10 km from Dubrovnik, this house offers very comfortable accommodation Mlini and Srebreno are situated 6 km from the historical jewel Dubrovnik and 8 km from the airport. Beautiful sunny and gravel beaches surrounded by hundreds of years old pine forest will offers you the most relaxing atmosphere.
How to get there
There are daily flights from London to Dubrovnik with British Airways, as well as several per week with Croatia Airlines. (They also have daily flights from Zagreb to Dubrovnik). Aer Lingus have three flights a week from Dublin. It can also be reached by bus from Zagreb ,Rijeka, Split or Trieste in Italy. The most pleasant journey to the city is probably by Jadrolinija ferry from Rijeka, which stops at islands and ports such as Zadar, Split, Hvar and Korcula along the way, and takes about 17 hours. There are also international ferry services from Bari in Italy.

Each apartment has air conditioning and offer some lovely views of the surrounding forest, the sea or the swimming pool. There is a large parking space just outside the house which is on the main road leading to Dubrovnik or Cavtat. The accommodation is ideal for those who want a beach holiday away from crowded streets and noise but very close to all the happenings and only a 10 minute bus ride into Dubrovnik!
