The main house is winter isolated and on the first floor you will find the kitchen with dishwasher and a dining place for 8 people with oceanview. There is also a livingroom and bathroom with shower and laundry washingmashine. On the second floor there is a hallway and two bedrooms (one with double bed and the other with two bunkbeds). The second house has a small sauna with shower and the third bedroom with either a double bed or two single beds and in the third house is situated large open veranda/terass with an open fireplace and television that you can also use in the livingroom next to the kitchen.

The Bohuslan region
The keyword in this province is "water". Today there is shipping and freighting, paper-mills, refineries and pertro-chemical industry dependent on it; the sea has been the bread and butter for a long time. During the 19th century the sea was crucial for the great herring period with its many train oil boileries, for the stone quarries' export of granite and for the seaside health resort era that paved the way for the tourism of today.
These are the moments you will remember for ever:
Lying on the smooth sunwarmed granite slabs after a salty swim. Eating ice-cream on the jetty while watching the boats come and go. Having a moonlit swim at 3 a.m. with your new friends after dancing all night long. The early morning fishing trip and cooking crabs when back ashore. Enjoying fresh prawns (shrimp) and white wine on the veranda at sunset. Pondering over the intricate figures on the rock carvings at Tanum. Walking down the narrow lanes in one of the many picturesque fishing villages.

Make no mistake, Bohuslän is special throughout the year, even if the summer is the most popular. If you come in the off season you will enjoy the quiet serenity and the open space. Be impressed by the archipelago on a stormy day. You will get to know the locals, and they will take their time to show you the special spots. The purity of the air and the water attract the scuba divers even in the winter.
Mjorn area
Bohuslän has got it all - the sea and the windswept rocks, with deep coves and lovely bays; the open fields and the meadows as well as deep forests with their small lakes. From the reassuring mainland or in the buzzing fishing villages, you can see the ocean beyond a protective necklace of barren islands. The coastline is brimming with life and the archipelago provides endless new discoveries. You can go lake or deep-sea fishing or enjoy water-activities such as sailing and canoeing.
How to get there
It is only 300 yards to the beach. There are more smaller beaches within a 20-40 minutes walk. 3 golfcourses within a 20, 30 and 40 minutes car ride. The supermarket is 15 minutes by car.
Our vacation house is situated between the famous islands of Tjörn and Orust, on a small island named Mjörn. There are many smaller fishing villages on Tjörn and Orust that you can reach by a 20-40 minutes car ride. Here you can eat excellent seafoods, hike, bike, and fish. Many smaller islands can also be reached by smaller ferries from Tjörn and Orust. It will take you 20 minutes by car to go to nearest city where you can find shopping, a marina and so on. Göteborg is only 70 minutes from our house and Ryan Air destination to Göteborg is only 50 minutes away by car. Car rentals can be done in Stenungsund which is 10 km from the house,
