We all had a great time, as a family we go away every year in a large house and this is the best so far.
The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Lot et Garonne region
This region between the Dordogne & Garonne rivers is one of the most popular areas of France, as well as one of the warmest & most clement.
Visit historical, Medieval Bastide Towns, sample wine in one of the numerous Vineyards, or Chateaux with beautiful Gardens. bathe & take a boat trip from a riverside beach or visit one of the many theme parks.
All this set in the most Beautiful undulating countryside ! Perfection for a family holiday.
The Miramont area
Miramont, has it's own lively Market.
Having 3 Supermarkets, plus many Restaurants & Bars, it's a very pretty & Happening Place, only 5 minutes from Carrouze.The first weekend in Aug it hosts the renowned Festival of Street Theatre.
Throughout July & Aug , it hosts, along with its neighbouring villages like Eymet, many fetes & spectacles.

From the magic cauldron for the children to milk the goats & make cheese to the child friendly, inexpensive restaurants in profusion, to the cordon bleu dining, there is something close by for everyone.
