The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Lot et Garonne region

South west France, enjoys long hot summers and mild short winters. Steeped in history with a legacy of hundreds of Bastide towns and Chateaux. The countryside is beautiful rolling hills, vineyards, orchards and numerous villages to explore.
The property is situated close to the Dordogne and Lot et Garonne borders, so is within easy driving distance of the medieval towns of Saint Emilion, Sarlat and picturesque Bergerac and Duras.

Miramont area

Only 5kms away is Miramont de Guyenne, a 13th Century bastide town with supermarkets and shops for all your everyday needs. Monday morning is market day in Miramont and a chance to buy local produce as fresh as possible.

On the way to Miramont you pass Saut du Loot a country park with a range of outdoor activities, sports and a lake.

How to get there

Directions to the property (max 8000)

Directions from Bergerac Airport
Follow the road out of the Airport to the right, at the T junction with the main road turn right towards Bergerac. At the first roundabout turn left towards Bordeaux. At the next roundabout turn left towards Marmande.

Directions from Bergerac
Leave Bergerac following the signs for Marmande.

Follow the Marmande road for about 25 minutes, passing through Eymet until you reach Miramont-de-Guyenne. In Miramont follow the signs to Cancon, this will take you out of the town and you will pass signs to a country park and Lac (lake), called Saut du Loup, on your right hand side. Continue through the village of Lavergne and through speed restriction, one way at a time, on the other side. A little further on you go straight on at the cross roads until you come to the sharp right hand bend on a slope at L’mothe d’Arles. Turn sharp left in front of the Church, signposted to Lauzun. Au Goutil is about 1 Km on the right hand side.
