The town of Minehead and the surrounding area offers some great family attractions from the West Somerset Railway to the steam boat excursions aboard the 'Balmoral and Waverley' and not forgetting the famous Butlins holiday resort.

Traveling west out of Minehead are the picturesque villages of Selworthy & Allerford, Porlock & Porlock weir and Lynton & Lynmouth.
