The property sits conveniently within stumbling distance of the village amenities from boutique shops offering locally produced goods and gifts, village pubs and a wealth of tea rooms. Dunster is famed for its National Trust 11th century Castle that dominates the skyline and its Old Yarn Market in the middle of the high street, both of which are a must see when visiting this area. Visit during the first weekend in December and you will be able to enjoy the spectacular annual Dunster by Candlelight event which is very atmospheric and has street entertainers including carol singers. Whilst this takes place most of the shops, restaurants and cafes are open and there are street stalls selling food. If you fancy venturing out, the rolling moors of Exmoor are a short drive and provide picture postcard views that this area is famed for and also offers walks for every ability. If you fancy a day on the coast the town of Minehead is 2 miles away with a golden sandy beach, array of shops, pubs and restaurants and the seaside village of Blue Anchor is 3 miles away and is famous for its long promenade.

Kitchen/diner: approached via one step, has gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer and a dining area. Outside: modest enclosed courtyard accessed via the dining room. Double doors leading out onto a cosy sun-trap terrace with garden furniture. Amenities: roadside parking is usually available outside.
