"Lovely accomodation, great animals and good fishing"

We had a lovely stay at Lovelynch farm (in spite of choosing a really wet week in July)

The accommodation is reached by passing through an electric gate and going along a long narrow driveway to the farm. There is ample room for parking and a horse statue overlooking the barn. The living area and kitchen are spacious, with a range cooker, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher, along with flatscreen TV and DVD player in the living room along with lots of books. The WiFi is a bit patchy and seemed to work best near the windows.

The bedrooms each have a large en-suite with whirlpool bath and shower and both are large - One has a massive sleigh bed!

The animals on the farm are all nearby, with Alpacas immediately behind the rooms, pigs, goats sheep and peacocks all around along with at least 5 small dogs.

The fishing lake is a few hundred metres away and has a good stock of carp in the 2-10lb range (there could have been some bigger ones but I did not see any...) they were not shy and fed on surface baits and bottom baits very happily.

Things to bear in mind - The spiral staircase is lovely but make sure you take slippers as it is a bit tough on the feet without them! It is also not ideal for small children.

We had a lovely stay, the owners are very friendly and there are some good supermarkets in Wellington (Asda and Waitrose).
