About the home

The house has 5 spacious bedrooms, 2 en suite. Solid fuel stove in living area and open fire place in sitting room. Large kitchen area and conservatory. Located in a safe and quiet rural area, on a large site. Ideal for families with small children.

The local area is rich in traditional Irish music, beaches, scenic views and golf courses. Beaches such as Spanish Point and White Strand are on the doorstep and Lahnich is a drive of 7 miles away. For those interested golf, the area has a number of well known golf courses, but in particular the famous Greg Norman designed Golf course at Doonbeg, only 8 miles away.

Breathtaking views can be enjoyed at the Cliffs of Moher, only 12 miles away and the famous limestone plateau of the Burren, a 18 miles scenic drive. Fine restaurants and bars are to be found all around the area.

The Miltown Malbay / Spanish Point area

Miltown Malbay is famous world wide for the Willie Clancy Traditional Music Summer school. This is an annual festival, taking place each year, the first week in July. Apart from this week, music can be heard in the many fine pubs that the town boasts all year round. Diving school situation in the local White strand, surfing in Lahinch and Spanish Point, fishing off the rocks at Spanish Point and White Strand. Horse riding and pony trekking in Lahinch.

Shannon Airport is 45 minutes drive from Miltown Malbay. Aer lingus, British Airways, City jet and Ryan Air all fly into Shannon Airport from various destinations.

To get to Miltown Malbay from Shannon Airport, take the N18 to Ennis. From Ennis, take the Ennistymon/Lahinch Road, travel approximately 12 miles to Inagh Village. At Inagh turn left for Miltown Malbay. Travel along this road for 10 miles until you arrive at MIltown Malbay. Clonbony is located 1 mile outide the town of Miltown Malbay
