The Cotswolds region

The Cotswolds is an area of outstanding natural beauty and evidence is in abundance around every corner. Stunning rolling countryside, towns and villages infused with its unique stone-built heritate, and broad valleys give visitors plenty to see - and that's before you discover the miles of trails, walking paths, visitor attractions, historic houses and palaces. Despite being entirely landlocked, the Cotswolds has its own Water Park - over 130 lakes covering an area of more than 40 sq. miles. Many lakes have been put to use for recreaton - try windsurfind, scuba-diving, angling and bird watching. There's even a beach!

Milton Under Wychwood

Ascott-under-Wychwood lies in the Evenlode valley to the north east of Burford. Rights of way lead away from the village for fabulous walks along the river Evenlode. Although tucked out of the way of main roads, it is just a short drive from some fabulous pubs and the market towns of Chipping Norton and Burford.

"Beautiful surroundings"

Very pleased to book the cottage at the last minute. The cottage was well equipped and perfect for our needs. The owners were lovely, very accommodating and the chocolate cake on arrival was a particularly nice touch. The garden was delightful and ideal for my children who enjoyed the climbing frame and swing. Great location, ideal for exploring the Cotswolds. Top tip... if you need a paper from the local shop get there very early or order in advance.
