The Austrian Alps region

Situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Austria, this undiscovered paradise is a perfect holiday destination. More and more UK residents are buying houses and settling down in the region. Aside from the beautiful scenery and healthy lifestyle, Carinthia is also easily accessible from the UK by three Airports, Klagenfurt, Ljubljana and Salzburg. The Slovenian and Italian borders are only a 40 minute ride away.

Millstattersee

The "Old Rectory", although situated at 2700 feet in the tiny farming village of Altersberg, is very close to many interesting attractions. We have beautiful lakes, healthy mountain routes with their associated "Alm Hütten", the Austrian equivalent of a country pub. The weather in Autumn is surprisingly pleasant and ideal for long mountain walks. Glaciers, Medieval towns, castles are all part of a memorable holiday.
