About the home

Our house can accommodate 25 persons: 12 bedrooms all with a personal touch, 8 bathrooms, 3 living rooms with fireplace, wide dining room in a vaulted stable, kitchens and 1 summer kitchen with barbecue near the pool.

Our 12 bedrooms are decorated with paintings and tapestries of 18ème century. The 12 rooms belongs to 3 independent flats (Troubadours, Templiers and Causse Rouge), each of them with living room. You can gather all together in Troubadours living room and enjoy its vast fireplace with coat of arms belonging to Lord Sambucy de Courtines who lived there in 1650. Wide dining room 65 m² in the old stables, with kitchen and monumental tables, up to 30 persons.

During spring and summer, you will eat in the summer kitchen 54 m² near the swimming pool and enjoy the beauty of the Millau viaduct, designed by Lord Norman Foster.

Many leisure activities on the spot : swimming pool 14 x 7 m, volley ball field, petanque field, 12 mountainbikes, fitness room, table tennis, table soccer, billiard, piano, TV and video set, hifi set, chess set and other games, library…

Our house is open all year long. Central heating and fireplaces. 2,5 hectares park with private pool. Summer kitchen with barbecue near the pool. Fabulous position right in front of the Millau viaduct. Helipad at your disposal.

Swimming pool available from 28thApril to 20th October 2012. Can be heated, on demand, with an extra price.
There is no caretaker at home but somebody is close by to assist if you need.
Catering, home cooker, house cleaning, babysitting or tourist guide on demand before your arrival.
Good french restaurants and wine producers only 4 km from Cadenède.

The Midi-Pyrenees / Aveyron region

Fantastic château for big parties
“ We are a group of 25-30 people which meets each year for one week . Cadenede was our fourth house/chateau we have rented so far in South France and it was the best of all! The mayor highlights of Cadenede are:
- Living in a medieval castle on the top of the valley with two great halls and a stunning inner courtyard.
- A really big pool with a unbelievable (!!!) view in the valley. Perfect for sundowners.
- A big kitchen with two big fridges and two stoves right beside the pool.
- Very much space for all activities (volleyball, badminton, retreating...)
- Just 10 min to a big grocery store (under the bridge), which has everything (e.g. fresh fish).
- No neighbours
- Very kind and skillfull caretaker (he doesn't live at the castle), who helps quickly!

M. Gay: The setting was magnificent. We all expected something special but the property certainly exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful time and hope to return soon.
