This villa has been built with both traditional architecture and Colonial-influenced design. The front entrance door is a handmade wooden door that is one hundred years old. The villa is built on one level in the shape of the Greek letter '?' with the pool in the centre.

The open plan living and dining area has floor to ceiling sliding glass doors. For entertainment there is a plasma television, satellite channels (limited), DVD player and the CD player allows music to be piped throughout the house. There is a stone hearth and the furniture is sophisticated and stylish including leather sofas, dining table with six chairs and hand-made furniture from local master craftsmen.

The kitchen displays a surprising contrast of wood, marble and stone while including the top-of-the-line appliances including electric oven & hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine found in the utility room. From the kitchen door you will find an external staircase that takes you up to an extensive roof terrace.

The piece de resistance is the domed Jacuzzi room with hand-laid blue mosaics overlooking the private garden and the mountains through the tall glass & iron windows. The Jacuzzi is large enough for six persons. By the Jacuzzi room there is a guest cloakroom with shower and gymnasium equipment including running machine and stepper.

The three bedrooms are as stunningly furnished as the other rooms in this spectacular villa. Each bedroom has a luxurious ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom is just two meters from the pool reached through sliding patio doors. The second & third bedrooms have two single beds and a double bed respectively and they share a large veranda.

The villa offers a safety deposit box, hairdryer, pool towels and air conditioning for both cooling & heating.

The villa has wireless internet connection.

The fully furnished veranda is extremely spacious and provides shade at all times of the day. This outdoor living area is perfect for relaxing with a sound system, dining area, outdoor stone fireplace and rattan sofa and chairs.

The large private swimming pool is 10m x 5.5m and only one depth of 1.40m and has walk in steps. The lawn area surrounds the property and is scented with jasmine.

Please note that there is a 'no smoking' policy inside the villa.

The Paphos region

Paphos has been inhabited since the Neolithic period. It was a centre of the cult of Aphrodite and of pre-Hellenic fertility deities.

Aphrodite's legendary birthplace was on this island, where her temple was erected by the Myceneans in the 12th century B.C. The remains of villas, palaces, theatres, fortresses and tombs mean that the site is of exceptional architectural and historic value. The mosaics of Nea Paphos are among the most beautiful in the world.

Miliou

The village of Miliou is one of the smallest villages in the Paphos district with a population of approximately 60 persons. The village participates in the Laona Project which aims to help the agro tourism on the island.

In Miliou there is the old monastery named Ayii Anargyri which has now been converted to a spa, perfect for a visit when not relaxing at your villa. The area is popular for the mineral springs. The center of Polis is 15 minutes drive, Paphos Town is just 20 minutes drive and the nearest beach is 15 minutes drive away.

Visitors can enjoy long walks in the nature and taste many fruits from the trees in the area. If you are interested in spending your holidays in a place connected to the beauty of nature this village is ideal for you.

The area of Polis is the principal town for the northwest region. This traditional town, huddled around a pedestrianised square is a great place to browse the many shops, enjoy a coffee watching the world pass by or dine at any of the wide selection of restaurants, tavernas and cafes which radiate out from the centre.

The town has an archaeological museum and cultural centre. There is a beach of coarse sand and shingle beach backed by tall Eucalyptus trees. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire and a restaurant/snack bar can provide refreshments.

Along the coast from Polis is the seaside resort of Latchi with its recently opened 200 berth marina. Here you will find an array of inviting sea-front tavernas with a superb selection of fresh fish and seafood served daily.

Just beyond Latchi you will find the well known 'Baths of Aphrodite' and for nature lovers the protected Akamas Peninsular an area particular suited to walkers and adventurers who can explore the many criss-crossed nature trails. The coastline of this area can also be enjoyed by boat with daily excursions available from the marina.

Paphos Town once the capital of the island is now included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage. The remains of villas, palaces, theatres, fortresses and tombs mean that the town is of exceptional architectural and historic value.

The well preserved mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings is probably the biggest cultural draw with further archaeological discoveries continually being made. Pano Paphos on the cliff is the main administrative centre and residential district while Kato Paphos, by the sea, is the main tourist area built around the harbour and medieval port. More modern entertainment facilities in Paphos include shopping facilities, markets, a Waterpark, bowling alley and the Paphos Bird and Animal Park with its daily parrot shows.
