"What is a perfect location and nice apartment! Fully equipped self contained apartment. The owner, Alessandra leaves the fridge stocked. We really appreciated this set up, as we enjoyed cooking all our own dinners and breakfasts. Stayed here and we feel "a real Italian Experience"
"The apartment is modern, tidy and spacious. It's furnished pretty stylish and groovy. The location was terrific as it was a five minute walk from Milano Porta Garibaldi station, which has both regional trains and the metro. It is also about a 20 minute walk from the Duomo and the main shopping district. This walk was enjoyable with plenty of stores and cafes along the way. But you can also catch the metro anywhere quite easily. The kitchen was stocked with baked treats (which were replenished daily), yogurts, biscuits, cereal, cheeses, crackers, bacon, eggs etc. All the food was delicious. The bed was super comfortable and wi-fi worked perfectly "
"A tasteful, bright and imaginatively designed studio apartment. Beautifully and quite expensively finished. Kitchen was nicely stocked with breakfast items, plus supermarket directly outside. The bed is really comfy - I mean mega-comfy. We liked the location - a lively area at night, with good eating options"

The Lombardy region
The pace of life in Milan, Lombardy’s capital seems very un-Italian but the city’s combination of technology, fashion and business is indisputably a unique mix which makes this a vibrant destination. The famous opera house of La Scala and the Cenacolo or Last Supper of Da Vinci are the city’s high points, not to mention the boutiques of Via Montenapoleone. Why not pause from shopping to take coffee in the shadow of the Gothic cathedral? Within half an hour’s drive the Orobic Alps beckon, offering great skiing, and to the west and east of Milan, the great lakes of Como, Maggiore and Garda promise magnificent scenery and elegant self catering villas, farmhouses and apartments, not to mention excellent local wines and distinctive cuisine (rice is the staple here rather than pasta).
The La Scala square is named after La Scala theatre, renown world-wide as “the” opera and music theatre. La Scala was built in the 18th century by architect Piermarini. It has recently been restored and refurbished by architect Mario Botta. Facing La Scala is Palazzo Marino, built in the 16th century by Galeazzo Alessi and currently housing the town hall.

"A slice of wonderful"
Alessandra, the owner is a star, so friendly and helpful. We stayed for three nights in B &B - everything you need for breakfast (and a lot more) is stocked up in the fridge and cupboards for you from fresh fruit, bacon and eggs to naughty but very yummy cakes. Alessandra really pays attention to detail - the bathroom is impeccable, the decoration funky and the layout of the apartment is a really clever use of space. Alessandra set up a cot next to the bed for our 3mth old baby and was so accomodating - giving us key areas to visit and sorting out routes for us. She did my washing and she even let us park in her parking space for a couple of days - how nice was that! I really recommend this apartment. Its perfect for a visit to Milan - a very nice area of Milan and central without being next to a railway station. Easy to hop on buses and trams too. There is a small lift that takes you up to the 4th floor - so there is no problem with accessing the apartment. Thank you Alessandra.
