The Lombardy / Milano/Monza region
Milan is a city of design and new technologies, of art and fashion. It seems that all these aspects have arranged to meet up in Milan to release an innate creativity and a desire to evolve.
Therefore Milan is not just about business, Milan means, first and foremost, creativity and inventiveness.
The Milan / Porta Ticinese area
The best way to discover the city is to cover it on foot, taking in each and every tone and shade. Each suggested itinerary offers a range of opportunities that are not to be missed. The fashion district inside the celebrated “quad” is only one of the city’s countless showcases. It is here that people are attracted by the most prestigious labels that launch the latest fashions. The itinerary that follows the tracks of the Milan’s Palazzi (historical buildings) allows you to relive history through the characters of the city, such as Alessandro Manzoni, Carlo Porta, Cesare Beccaria and many others. Amongst the streets and bars found alongside the Navigli and in Brera, the “it” places for fun, you can dive into more of the city's traditions, including those of the culinary variety.
This is the true Milan, the secret Milan, the city of templars, the city as seen from above, the religious Milan and its churches, sober and rich with masterpieces of art. There is also the more intimate Milan, the one that can only be truly discovered on foot, to which many guidebooks have been dedicated.
