LOFT in via g.b. bertini 7a

ENGLISH

The place, at the beginning of the century, whose a distillery mainly producing for Campari. During the second world war the distillery left the place to a military supplier forging part of submarines.

In the '70 became one of the most important typography in town.

With the computer and new technology the company had to close down and, the place, has been abandoned for about twenty years. In the early 2000 we did bay part of the building.

The house is on 4 levels. Just under 300 square meter.

On the ground floor an open space including: sitting room with two settees and two armchairs. And an 18th century fireplace. A kitchen fully equipped. A dining area with a antique Indian table 3 meter long. In this part of the house an other fireplace: a 17th century cast-iron plate coming from a Loira castle decorated with 100 lily of France.

On the grounf floor there is , also, a studio with an other 3 meter long table. WI Fi is available.

Walking fraught the night zone you'll find a bathroom with large shower.

After, a bedroom with an other large bathroom.

Two bedrooms upstairs and the third bathroom.

The garden is very pretty the pavement is an original cotto tiles fired in a medieval furnace near Siena.

Via Bertini, in the old days was, actually, a canal quite famous in Milan for the large number of water mill all along the millrace.

One of the biggest mill (a fantastic industrial archaeology symbol) is now one of the most famous American Advertising Agency: JWT.

Couple of hundred meter out the house and you are in the Milanese movida, bar open up to very late at night where you can drink and eat...Aperitivo!

Walking across the Sempione Park and though the Sforzesco Castle you are right in the centre town…by the Cathedral: the Duomo.

Last but not list round the corner from the house there is Via Paolo Sarpi, at the end of this road you are in Brera the artists area , you can visit the famous Art Accademy of Brera ...and lhave a lovely meal in an old Milanese restaurant.

Have a nice time!

ITALIANO

Buona permanenza!
