This comfortable , accurately furnished flat ( 60 mq) is on the 3rd floor of a modern typical Milanese building, lift available. Although Corso Lodi is a main road with shops, supermarket, banks, post office , restaurants , bus and underground stops, etc , the flat is quiet as it faces the courtyard. The flat consists of a living room with small balcony, sitting and dining area, fully equipped kitchen ( dishwasher) , bedroom with king size bed, bathroom with bath and shower. In the living room is a comfortable sofabed for a third person. Washing machine available.

The Lombardy / Milano/Monza region
Lombardy is a vast region in the north of Italy at the foot of the Alps. Well served by airports ( Linate and Malpensa, also both budget airports) , trains ( we will soon have a 3 hours' connection with Rome) and autostrada's. Milan is a the flat Po valley but soon after you have left the city to the north you will reach the hills of Brianza and the lakes of Como, Maggiore, Varese. To the south you find the medieval settings of Charavalle, or Morimondo, the renaissance Certosa in Pavia or the most beautiful town square of Italy: Vigevano , Sabbioneta the village-castle it not to be missed.
Milan / Duomo area
Milan today is one of the most important and stylish cities in Italy and is full of history. Since it is first mentioned in 300 A.C. , when it was called " Mediolanum " by the Romans, has gone through various periods , it was the Capital of the Western Roman Expire, ruled by the Visconti and Sforzaz local families, undergone the Spanish domination, was ruled by the Habsburgers and went through the Napolean era to be ruled by Austro-Hungarians and became through the Kingdom of Italy one of the most important towns of the Peninsula .
These influences can all still be noticed in buildings, churches and archaeological remains.
Therefore you will enjoy a stroll in the city centre or take the tourist double decker bus or boat on the naviglia river and admire at leisure . Visit the Cathedral, Palazzo Reale , the Scala from the Duomo is a five minutes walk through the covered shopping alley . The castle " Forzesco", Sant'Ambrogio, Piazza San Babila church and many others, also the restored the "last supper" of Leonardo Da Vinci will be on your programme.
You may come to Milan for its tradefairs ( design, fashion) , art exhibitions ( Pinacoteca Brera, villa Reale, Palazzo Bigatti-Valsecchi , considered one of the finest museums of Europe, Archeological museum ), theatre shows and festivals , music (Scala opera, ).
