The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa Del Sol has one of the best all year round climates on the coast of Spain, with over 300 days of fine weather each year.It has many fabulous beaches and tourist attractions.Historic interest is in many cities including the Alhambra Palace in Granada , the Picasso Museum and the Baroque Cathedral in Malaga. The area is also dubbed "Costa del Golf "for obvious reasons.
Mijas area
The picturesque village of Mijas with its narrow streets, souvenir shops and restaurants is a must visit attraction. There are many Fiestas throughout the year in the local villages.Other attractions are the Lew Hoad Tennis Club (5 mins walk) with beautiful gardens, bar ,pool and restaurant. There are 60 golf courses in Andalucia 30 of which are on the Costa del Sol. For the younger people there is an aquapark,go-karting,horse riding, local zoo and funparks. Other attractions include discos and night clubs and many ,many good quality restaurants (some in walking distance)
How to get there
The villa is on the A387 between Fuengirola (3 km) and Mijas (3.5km) it is approx.18km from Malaga Airport and all major car hire companies are available at the airport. There is a train station at the airport that goes to Fuengirola centre , from here taxis and buses are available and we are about 5 minutes away. Buses also run from the airport all the time and taxis are available 24 hours a day , right outside the arrivals terminal .We are approx. 20 minutes away from the airport.

The lounge and master bedroom have large patio doors opening onto a spacious terrace with coastal views. The spacious apartment is fully equipped and furnished and ideal for a peacefull "escape"
