This semi-detached townhouse is located close to the beautiful village of Mijas with its backdrop of pine clad hills behind. This property is full of charm with its original wooden windows and beamed ceilings in the 2 bedrooms. From street level steps lead up to the gated patio area. Access is via the rear door which is the main door to the house. On the ground floor you will find the comfortable lounge which has a fireplace, air conditioning and flat screen tv. The kitchen is gallery style and has a dishwasher. Upstairs you will find the two bedrooms, both of which have air conditioning. The Master bedroom has a double bed and fitted wardrobe while the second bedroom has twin beds and Juliette balcony from which you can enjoy excellent views over the countryside and to the sea. Both bedrooms share the bathroom which has a bath with shower over. The washing machine is also in the bathroom. The joy of this property is its outdoor space. The patio area is sheltered and an excellent place to relax or for dining. There are several small trees and bushes planted at the rear of the house where the rock garden extends behind the house.. This provides a beautiful backdrop when you are sitting in the patio. The urbanisation of Mijas La Nueva is very popular due to the tranquility it offers and proximity to the village of Mijas. It offers 2 communal swimming pools, tennis courts and Club House. There is plenty of communal parking and car hire although not essential is recommended. Wi fi internet is available, BBQ, and internet television can be provided including full Movie and Sports packages on payment of a supplement.

Mijas Pueblo

One of the jewels of the Costa del Sol is the beautiful little village of Mijas, which nestles comfortably in the mountainside at 428 meters above sea level; it is a superb choice for either holiday or full time living.

When you wander through the narrow cobbled streets of this Andalucian village, you can understand what has attracted foreigners to settle here over the years. Many artists and writers have made it their home, enjoying the benefits of an excellent all year round climate, without being part of the busier, more commercial coastal towns just 7 kilometres down the mountain side.

Its Tourist Information Office situated above the Municipal Car Park in Plaza Virgen de la Peña, where information can be obtained on local events, concerts and nearby attractions.

Constitution Square – a fabulous place to sit enjoying a meal or drink in one of the local restaurants and just watch the world pass by.

Shrine Virgen of the Rock: The Shrine holds the image of the patroness of Mijas, the Virgin of the Rock. Legend has it that the image of the Virgin was hidden during 5 centuries and was found in 1586 by the father of two shepherd boys who were led to the hiding place by a dove.

"El Carromato de Max": A museum of miniatures, one of the most important of its kind with works from over 50 countries.

The Casa Museo: Established in 1995 the Museum reproduces a traditional village house and informs you of local traditions.

Church Inmaculada Concepcion: Built in 1541 on the site of an ancient Moorish castle, one of the castle towers was used as a bell tower. A series of frescos of the Apostles date back to approximately 1632.

Fortress walls: La Ruta del Botanica The remnants of the fortress that used to protect the village with its pretty gardens and spectacular view point.

Malaga Wine museum – well worth a visit with its selection of wines from all over the world.

San Sebastian Street – this typical street is one of the most picturesque and photographed streets of the coast.
