The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
In "La Costa del Sol" you don't get bored. Just a 10 minutes form Mijas you can play golf in several golf courses situated in the coast. At 7 km. is Fuengirola, there you can have a walk in its long promenade and take a sunbath in its beaches and should taste "pescaito frito or paella" in a chiringuito but if we have to recommended a beach it is Cabopino in Mijas coast. It is characterize for its dunes, pines and crystal clear water. On Tuesday and Saturday you can go to the street market in Fuengirola and Mijas Coast. You should visit Marbella 30km from Mijas. There, we recommended to visit prestigious Puerto Banus and to have a look its luxurious ships tied up in the port. Other, recommendation is to visit Puerto Marina port in Benalmadena. Also, you can visit interior white villages as are Ronda, Nerja, Torre del Mar, Benahavis... In Málaga city you can visit the Cathedral, The Alcazar, Picasso museum, Botanic gardens and the famous Marqués de Larios street and of course you should taste the tapas bar.
Mijas Pueblo area
Mijas is an typical andalusian village of unprecedented charm and historical value with its white whased houses,its narrow streets, its Arab roof tiles and balconies full of flowers. It is characterized by having uninterrupted panoramic views of the coast. The population of the village is approximatly 55,500 with 38.38% of this being foreign residents (mainly British, danish and German). The average annual temperature is between 15-18 ºC with 2,920 hours of sun. This town is located 8 km from the sea, on the Costa del Sol Occidental and at height of 425 metres above sea level.
Our recommendations to enjoy this beautiful place are to visit the old town full of history walking to loose in its narrow streets. In Mijas you have to visit Museum- house, old and new Town hall, miniatures museum, the bullring, its bullfighting museum, art galleries and of course to have a walk in donkeys- taxi . Don't forget to have a look to its handicrafts shops and to taste "Spanish food" in the different restaurants. Also, you can admire the stunning views in the viewpoints located within the town.
How to get there
To fly to Málaga - Pablo Ruiz Picasso airport. Take the motorway A-7 direction Marbella - Algeciras. Then, taking the outlet nº 214 Fuengirola- Algeciras- Marbella. At 100 metres take the outlet nº 213 Fuengirola- Mijas. You will arrive to a roundabout. There you have to turn right direction Mijas road A-387. You will have 7 km of distance to arrive to Mijas town. When you arrive to the entrance of Mijas town you will see a Bp petrol station, there you have two roundabouts, in the second roundabout turn right direction to Coín- Alhaurin. At 3 km you will find a by pass, there you have to turn left and the first urbanisationin to the right hand side is Mirador de Mijas complex. .

A 20% non-refundable deposit is required within 15 days of making a booking by e-mail. The accommodation is reserved for this period. Full payment same day of your arrival before enter in the apartment. Your accommodation will be cleaned prior to your arrival with a change of towels and bed linen. For stays of 8 nights or more a second clean of linen will be arranged.
Any changeover day is accepted and we will accommodate you at whatever time you wish to arrive and depart the accommodation.
