The interior blends modern comfort with a traditional and charming countryside decoration. You will find plenty of possibilities for sightseeing and entertainment in the area.

A tranquil oasis of calm away from the hustle of modern life, this charming restored farmhouse offers lovely countryside views. It is located at 1.5 km from Entrerrios, a small village in the municipality of Mijas where you can do your daily shopping and find a restaurant. At 3 km distance there is a shop that is open 7 days per week. In just a 10 minute drive you can reach the sandy beaches of Cala de Mijas (8.5 km) where you will find a wide array of facilities such as supermarkets, restaurants, and tapa bars. The kids will certainly enjoy the water park nearby and the award winning zoo of Fuengirola. For adults, within close vicinity, there are numerous golf courses, a marina, theme parks, and water sports facilities.

The attractive private pool (6x5 m, 1.9 m deep) is set in a fenced area for extra child safety and surrounded by lawn and a sun-terrace. The sound of tinkling water from the stone fountain at the pool makes it an ideal place to relax. On a higher level, you will find a large terrace for sun and shade equipped with a barbecue and dining amenities, the ideal place for wining at dining until late at night.

The property has been built in a traditional Andalusian style, with thick walls, beamed ceilings, and wooden floors. There is a cosy lounge with 2 sofas, a wood-burning stove, air conditioning, satellite-TV, and a DVD player. A spacious kitchen is well equipped with a 4 ringed gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and a breakfast corner. The kitchen communicates with an enclosed verandah dining room. A hall full of traditional ornaments gives access to a lovely double bedroom and a bathroom with an over bath shower and WC. On the first floor, a spacious corridor, used as a second bedroom with bunk beds, leads to the third bedroom with a double bed and a romantic design with a panoramic window looking out to the garden and to the countryside. This bedroom has a flatscreen TV and air conditioning. The fourth bedroom is located on the ground floor and has independent access; decorated with good taste, this bedroom offers a warm ambience and an ensuite shower room with WC.

The Andalucia region

Mijas Village aspires in the not too distant to be declared Patrimony of Humanity. The Mayor has initiated the process by instructing various municipal departments to begin to process the request before the UNESCO, the international organism that awards the distinction. Mijas has known how to conserve the typical Andalusian architecture and it has a number of ethnographic clues as to how man interacted with his surroundings.

Mijas Village was recognized in 1969 as a Historic-Artistic Complex, an award based on criteria related to the typical landscapes and the picturesque character of the village. In fact, the fundamental importance of Mijas resides in its pure character as an Andalusian village and in its privileged situation. The typical agglomeration of picturesque streets and squares and the simplicity of the white buildings, with bars and balconies full of flowers, situated in the middle of a superb panorama, with the mountain covered in pine trees behind and with the splendid extension of the sea in front.
