The characteristic 2 bedroomed house is situated with beautiful views, in a friendly community just on the outskirts of Mijas Pueblo. The Master bedroom has a balcony which looks out onto the coast, and overlooking Africa. Downstairs, the open plan feature creates a welcoming homely feel for guests to enjoy. The front terrace creates an outdoor lifestyle for sunbathing and dining under the orange tree.
It is suitable for couples and families with children. The house is situated on the side of a mountain overlooking Fuengirola.
The quiet village location is an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the Costa Del Sol. A 15 minute walk into Mijas Pueblo provides an abundance of bars and restaurants, in a welcoming atmosphere. This is also where you have the opportunity to experience the picturesque village of Mijas by horse drawn carriage or Donkey taxi. It is only a 20 minute drive from the fantastic beaches and lively nightlife of Fuengirola. It is also within driving distance of Marbella, Gibralter, Estepona and other areas of the Costa Del Sol. An ideal location for a fantastic holiday.
Nearby you can enjoy some of the most sought after golfing. Fishing, horse riding, walking and moutain biking are enjoyed at Mijas and the surrounding areas. The long summer evenings offer opportunity to meet with the friendly locals and enjoy good food, and fine wines. The beer is really good too!
Mijas is a picturesque village set on the side of the Sierra de Mijas. This offers 1050m of mountain walks, and amazing flowers and wildlife. The church can be found after a short walk up the mountain, providing a fantastic view of Mijas and the Costa Del Sol. On a clear day the coast of Africa can be seen from this point, and from the balcony off the double bedroom in the house.
For teenagers and holidayers who are young at heart, there are a range of exciting activities, for example Funny Beach in Marbella offers a range of activities such as sailing, windsurfing, and snorkelling.
The house is a comfortable and idylic setting for the holiday of your dreams, whether that be an action packed activity holiday, or a relaxing break. PLEASE NOTE: The house is set on a mountain, in a semi rural location. There are steps and steep climbs which may not be suitable for people of limited mobility. Even able bodied, fit people may want to consider hiring a car for the duration of their holiday to enjoy the many delights of the Costa Del Sol.

The Open plan feature on the ground floor provides family dining, relaxing and access to the front terrace for the enjoyment of guests. There are outdoor relaxing and dining furniture, to enjoy eating outdoors and entertaining on the terrace. The TV has a DVD player incorporated with access to a number of channels (no Sky TV or Satellite TV).
The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals, with a fridge freezer, hob and oven. The washing machine is located out in the utility yard at the rear of the casa.
Upstairs the twin bedroom and Master bedroom are furnished with draws and wardrobe/cupboard space for storage. The balcony from the Master bedroom gives access to beautiful views, where you can experience the sounds, smells and views of the Costa Del Sol.
There is an excellent bar and restaurant within 2 minutes walk of the Casa, with friendly bi-lingual staff and great tasting food.

There is some parking available in the community, although no specific parking allocated to the Casa. There is currently no community pool in the community, however the municipal pool is free during the week and is only a 5 minute drive.
There are many golf courses around Mijas, and a range of activities such as water sports, walking, horse riding, are in easy reach.
The Andalucia region
Málaga is also the name of the province in Andalucia which includes the city of Málaga and the scenic mountain and coastal towns such as Antequera, Ronda, and Fuengirola.
There are plenty of activities and amusements to keep you and the whole family entertained on holiday including:
Golf, Beaches, Water Sports, Horse riding, Nightlife and Shopping. For winter holidays Skiing in the Sierra Nevada is approximately 2 hours drive.
Malaga is the principal city on the Costa del Sol, Spain's premier tourist destination and a very special part of the Mediterranean. The region boasts an ideal climate, with Summer temperatures averaging 30 degrees Celsius and Winter temperatures range from 16 to 19 degrees.
It is a city rich in culture, great food and drinks alongside entertainment for all the family. The friendly people and wonderful climate encourage a stroll through the old walls and the remains of the Muslim palaces of the Alcazaba fortress, through its gardens adorned with palm and orange trees and jacaranda.
You can also explore the house where Picasso was born, there on the Plaza de la Merced. Or take in the view of the city from the top of the Gibralfaro Castle.
There are two water parks within easy reach by car or bus, and Fuengirola zoo offers entertainment for the whole family.
There are plenty of exciting opportunities for all the family to explore the sights, sounds and experiences of the Costa Del Sol.

Mijas Pueblo has an exciting mix of traditional Spanish cultures, alongside modern facilities for guests to enjoy. There are a number of local ferrias where tourists are encouraged to enjoy the local dancing and celebrations, welcomed by local people.
The village of Mijas Pueblo offers a variety of shopping, entertainment, food and drinks for the exploring traveller, alongside Donkey Taxi's and view of the village from horse drawn carriage.
The white washed walls and array of flora and fauna makes Mijas a picturesque holiday experience that many people return to time after time.
