This beautifully positioned property nestles in an elevated position in a quiet corner of this highly-regarded international urbanisation set around two renowned golf courses.
Entry is via large double doors leading into a spacious hallway with beautiful cream marble floors extending throughout the villa. A cloakroom is located by the front door but eyes are drawn towards the open-plan lounge and dining area beyond an elegant arch framed by two Romanesque pillars. The dining area opens onto the large covered terrace, used for much of the year for dining and relaxation as a comfortable, shady retreat in the heat of summer.
Villa Casita is a spacious three bedroom family house with flowing spaces, plenty of storage and the comfort of air conditioning for summer and warm air and a feature gas fire for the cooler winters. A fabulous cool, north-facing kitchen with granite worktops and a utility room is well-equipped for self-catering. It leads onto the south-facing terrace so as to make the serving of outdoor meals and refreshments easy and convenient.
All upstairs bedrooms, arranged around a spacious square landing, open onto a large terrace with spectacular views of the countryside, golf course and the sea. The master bedroom has a fully tiled en-suite, whilst the second and third bedrooms share a generous bath and shower room. All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and the bathrooms have plentiful storage space.
Just a few steps below the eating terrace is the pool deck containing the tempting kidney-shaped pool and the BBQ. Beyond this, a small, secluded and shady garden with lawn and mature shrubs is tucked away and accessed via steps from the main terrace. This is a place well-suited for children to play safely or for adults to escape to a peaceful retreat.

The villa has a large entrance hall with cloakroom and sweeping staircase. The ground floor has a large L- shaped lounge and dining room for formal dining and relaxed lounging.
The high specification kitchen is spacious and very well equipped with a convenient breakfast bar. Off the kitchen is a utility area and doors leading to the stunning terrace.
Upstairs there are 3 beautiful bedrooms, each opening onto a large terrace.
The master bedroom has a large en-suite shower room and boasts stunning views from the corner floor to ceiling windows.
In addition to the two other beautiful bedrooms is a large family bathroom with a corner bath.

The main terrace has fantastic views and is a perfect space for outdoor living. There are steps to the pool area and BBQ which are set within another spacious terrace which is perfect for sunbathing. Down some more steps is a pretty garden which is secluded and enclosed - the perfect place to watch the stunning sunsets.

The Costa del Sol region


Mijas Golf is close to Fuengirola and the coast in the heart of the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. It is set between the Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra de Mijas producing a micro- climate with over 320 days of sunshine per year. Summers are hot but the villa benefits from cool breezes drawn inland from the sea. Winters are mild often with daytime temperatures of 20 degrees. Altogether it is a healthy, relaxing and happy climate in which to live.
The Spanish tourist resort of Fuengirola is only 10 minute drive away with a huge selection of shops,restaurants,bars and nightclubs and the longest beach on the Costa Del Sol. The town centre has an attractive, traditional Spanish plaza known as "Church Square" where you can mingle with the locals and watch the world go by. The long sandy beaches are clean with great facilities and lifeguards in the summer.
La Cala is a pretty fishing village with a great beach and is a 15 minute drive away.
Mijas Pueblo is one of the oldest Spanish whitewashed villages with spectacular views to the coast. Traditional cobbled streets, a bullring, pretty plazas, individual shops, a wide range of bars and restaurants and numerous places of interest make Mijas a must to visit.
Benalmadena Costa and Puerto Banus offer pretty marinas where you can admire the impressive yachts as well as shop, eat and drink. Both resorts have beaches so there is something for everyone.
Local attractions also include local markets, a water park, shopping centre, cinema with English films, a zoo, mini-golf, a Sealife aquarium, bullfighting, horseriding, quadbiking and 2 x 18 hole golf courses (Los Lagos and Los Olivios) During the summer months you will also be able to experience the local fiestas and ferias where the Spanish have their traditional processions and parties.
The Mijas Golf area
The location of the villa is quiet and private with stunning views over the golf course and beyond to Fuengirola and the Mediterranean Sea. Nonetheless, it is not isolated, enjoying easy access to a full range of amenities such as restaurants, supermarkets, medical services and motorways.
The villa is ideally located to satisfy the many interests and needs of visitors. Fuengirola, some 4 kms away, provides safe sandy beaches, the water park and many shops. The area is rich in restaurants catering for all tastes, from inexpensive ventas to elegant restaurants offering the best of haute cuisine.
For the sports enthusiast, there are said to be more than fifty golf courses nearby. Tennis and horse riding are available and the Mijas Race Course is only ten minutes away.
Marbella and Puerto Banus, with its famous marina, new shopping mall, restaurants and night spots, are half an hour’s drive away. Within a two hour drive are Gibraltar with its English shops, Granada with its Alhambra Palace, Cordoba with its fabulous Mesquita and Ronda with its famous viaduct and bull ring. For the even more active, there is quad-bike racing, tennis and also winter sports can be enjoyed on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada, again less than two hours drive away. In all, a super base for exploring Andalucia.
Alternatively, Villa Casita can simply be a place to quietly unwind, read and relax.
