About the home

This wonderful apartment in Mijas Golf sleeps a maximum of 4 guests in a comfortable international golf complex on Spain's glorious Costa del Sol. The buildings are typically Andalusian, with a large, characteristically Spanish square. Inside, the apartment is characterised by comfort and practicality, with one bedroom as well as a fully-equipped modern kitchen and big salon with golf views and fireplace. Also available are air conditioning (can be adjusted to hot or cold depending on season and weather!), satellite TV, DVD player and Internet.

The apartment boasts a shared garden - perfect for mingling with fellow holidaymakers - and we provide garden furniture and a barbecue to enable you to make the most of this. The complex has a large swimming pool which is open all year round, as well as the international golf courses "Los Lagos" and "Los Olivos".

The Costa del Sol region

With its hot, sunny climate, miles of sandy beaches and fascinating cities ready to be explored, the Costa del Sol is justifiably one of Europe's premier tourist destinations.

Our apartment in Mijas Golf is located just half an hou'r drive from Malaga, the largest city on the Costa del Sol with its beaches, Picasso museum and vibrant restaurant and nightlife scene. Puerto Banus, with its famous marina, new shopping mall, restaurants and night spots, is only half an hour’s drive away, while within a two hour drive are Gibraltar with its English shops, Granada with its Alhambra Palace, and Ronda with its famous viaduct.

For the even more active, winter sports can be enjoyed on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada - again, less than two hours' drive away!

The Mijas Golf area

Located less than half an hour's drive from Malaga international airport, Mirador del Golf is a modern but typical Andalucian building set between the Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra de Mijas. Narrow alleys wind past bougainvillaea, hibiscus and mimosa.

Archways lead to neat squares of flowers and fountains, paved in hand-made tiles and bounded by white rendered walls and Roman brickwork.

Silhouetted by the morning sun, the craggy Sierra de Mijas contrast sharply with the well kept golf courses and, beyond, the resort of Fuengirola and the Mediterranean.

The area is rich in eating places, from the inexpensive ventas to elegant restaurants offering the best of haute cuisine.

Mirador del Golf is ideally located to satisfy the many interests and needs of visitors. Fuengirola, some two miles away, provides several miles of safe, sandy beaches, numerous shops and restaurants catering for all tastes.

For the sports enthusiast, there are said to be more than fifty golf courses within an hours drive. Tennis and horse riding are available nearby, as also is the Mijas Aqua Park.

The new Mijas Horse Race Course is ten minutes away.
