We are located in a semi rural location yet only 10 minutes from the beach,20 minutes drive from Malaga Airport. Quiet and peaceful, yet only five-fifteen minutes from the larger resorts such as Fuengirola, Benalmadena, Marbella and Puerto Banus, where you will find fabulous marinas, wonderful shops, restaurants to cater for all tastes and incomes and varied nightlife.
The South facing apartment benefits from its lovely shared gardens, 4 pools, 2 for children,2 paddle tennis courts, 2 children's play areas. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with stunning views of the countryside, furnished with 2 tables and very comfortable recliner chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. For the young family and for those who like their sport, in addition to the many golf courses, there are water activities including water park, water skiing, fishing trips, and diving. You can also go horse racing at Mijas Hippodrome racetrack, which in the summer months is a night time venue and a really good night out for everyone. .

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol stretches along just over 150 kilometres of Málaga province and is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations. The area's wonderful climate is the main attraction making it possible to enjoy the a wide variety of outdoor activities year round. All along the coast are long sandy beaches, coves hidden amongst cliffs, leisure marinas and fishing ports.
Its great diversity means that it has something to offer just about everyone - young, old, families, there is entertainment and variety to please all types of holiday visitor.
Have fun with the family at the water parks,on the beaches, horse riding, and go -karting. Taste country wines,sample traditional tapas, visit places of historical interest, sunbathe, golf and shop.These are some of the temptations that will seduce all visitors. Many towns have "paseo maritimos"- promenades that are popular with all ages. Every day and evening, people stroll, jog, walk dogs, meet friends or just sit in the cafes and restaurants watching the "world" walk by. This is the area that is home to flamenco dancing, bullfights, orange groves, Moorish towns and whitewashed villages perched on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada.
The Mediterranean water is warm and safe with hills & high mountains sheltering the coastline which allows for the best climate in Spain. Each town on the Costa del Sol has a different character depending on its history in the days prior to tourism and the type of development since. Benalmadena is a modern town built as an extension of the older towns of Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmadena Pueblo. It has a beautiful marina. Malaga enjoys one of the most pleasant climates in the world. Fuengirola is an older town but still have the attractions associated with a good holiday resort and a long seafront promenade. Ronda sits on the top of a plateau on either side of the plunging Tajo Gorge, one of the most remarkably situated places in the world. Mijas is another white village, famed for its donkey taxis. It has lovely craft shops, pottery and paintings are a really good buy. Marbella has always been successful in attracting upmarket guests. Great shopping and great for "people watching!" Torremolinos is a great shopping town for cheaper goods. La Carahuela region has some of the best fish restaurants of the Costa del Sol and a wonderful atmosphere. Nerja is surrounded by mountains and beaches and known for its protected climate, clear air, caves and magnificent view.

La Hacienda de Mijas Golf is in a semi rural location, only 10 minutes drive to the beach at Fuingerola, in Spain’s Costa del Sol. From La Hacienda de Mijas Golf, golfers have 2 world renowned courses, Los Lagos and Los Olivos, within walking distance!
Greens are USGA specifications and fairways are of 419 Bermuda grass. Difficult par, easy bogey, with plenty of water and relatively flat. Superb restaurant and dining on the terrace. 8 courses-6 championship standard-within a ten minute drive Costa's 60+courses are all within a 45 minute's drive radius. The coast boasts beautiful golf courses for every level of play, from the wide open fairways of Mijas to the spectacular mountain course at Los Arqueros.. Most visitors find the Costa del Sol irresistible in the winter and there are fantastic deals to be found during the summer months
Within walking distance are two 4-star hotels-Tamisa Golf and Hotel Byblos, bars and restaurants, park with bar/café and a free barbecue area.
The lively town of Fuengirola with Costa del Sol's longest stretch of beach and the best open-air market on the coast. is just 10 minutes away. It is an excellent shopping town, and has the added benefit of the huge new Miramar shopping centre and El Cortes Ingles. If you want to sample shopping in other places, Malaga, up-market Puerto Banus and Marbella are all about 25mins away. A drive of about 1 hour, will take you to Gibraltar where you will find plenty of duty free
A short drive in either direction will take you to places such as Benalmadena, Torremolinos and Estepona. If you do not want to drive there is excellent public transport- A short drive inland is found the beautiful Andalucian village of Mijas. It is lovely to wander through the narrow cobbled streets of this Andalucian village where many artists and writers have settled. The craft shops have some wonderful hand made pottery and often affordable paintings and prints by acclaimed local artists, There are good restaurants and even a donkey taxi service. The views from the village are spectacular.
.A bit further, but well worth the trip, is Ronda, a beautiful and historical town and one of the most visited towns in Andalucía. Many tourists also recommend a visit to the Moorish city of Granada. Travel to Tangier in Morocco from Tarifa or Algeciras across the Straits of Gibraltar by hydrofoil (takes just 35 minutes.) During the winter months you can even go skiing on the Sierra Nevada Mountains, which are about 1-2 hours away.

How to get there
Easy Jet, Ryan Air, Aer Lingus,British Airways and many charters fly to Malaga. Often it is cheaper to fly on a weekday instead of at a weekend. La Hacienda is only 20 minutes by car from the airport. A train service runs regularly to Fuengirola and it is very easy to get a taxi to the apartments(approximately 10 Euros or 7 pounds sterling). Sixt car hire have proved to be most competetive in price. Book the car online before you arrive so you do not have to queue for long at the airport. Use www.travelsupermarket.com to compare prices.

In addition to the rental charge there is a fully refundable breakages deposit which will be returned as soon as the apartment has been checked.
