Our luxurious 3 bedroom ground floor apartment is located in the castle (El Castillo) within in the pretty Andalucian village styled complex of Puebla Aida on the Costa Del Sol. With it’s pretty cobbled walkways, fountained courtyards, beautifully maintained gardens and a choice of 4 swimming pools and a children's paddling pool. The apartment was refurbished in June 2007 and photographs shown were taken on completion.
Puebla Aida is located within the grounds of the Mijas Golf complex with two 18 hole golf courses designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr – Los Lagos and Los Olivos and only a short walk from the famous Hotel Byblos. In June 2007 the SAS Radisson Group opened a 5 Star hotel within 5 mins walk and they have 2 restaurants and a Spa, which are open to the public. Puebla Aida is only 25 min's from Malaga Airport, 10 min's from Fuengirola, 25 min's from the Cosmopolitan resort of Marbella and 30 min's to the jet set resort of Puerto Banus.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Costa Del Sol is a vibrant interesting coastline appealing to all ages.There are miles of sandy beaches lapped by clear blue mediterranean seas. You can feast like a king for as little as 5 euros enjoying all the flavours of the world in its many restaurants and bars where children are welcome .It has sun all year round, even in winter the temperatures are mild and for those of you that fancy the colder climes Sierra Navadas are only a 2 hour drive away where you can go skiing or snowboarding. At the other end of the scale, Tarifa is an hour away and is considered to be a surfers paradise. Gibraltar with its famous rock and monkeys is an experiance for all. Those of you that would enjoy the cutural side of Spain, Ronda is the birthplace of bull fighting with the oldest bullring in Spain and is built on a huge gorge with fabulous views. Alambra in Granada is the best preserved Arab Palace in the world and is well worth a visit

Local places to visit are Mijas Village, typical Spanish village , steeped in tradition and local architecture, Benalmadena marina fantastic boats, lots of shops, bars and restaurants, good beach, parascending, boat trips etc. Excellent Tuesday Market in Fuengirola. Lots of Fiestas throughout the year. Biggest one being Ferria del Carmen 6th Oct to 12th Oct .Week long of festivities fairs, dancing ,horse parades and much more. Local attractions include Go Karting,Horse racing,Sealife centre,Selwo adventure world,Selwo Marina,Cable car ride,Scuba diving, Parasailing,Tennis, Dolphin Safaris, Tivoli world ,Fuengirola zoo, Watersports, Boulle, Tennis and Quad Biking
How to get there
-Fly to Malaga - Mijas Golf is just a 25 minute drive from the airport or by train to Fuengirola -Cheap flights available from Monarch, Easyjet, XL airlines, British Airways, BMIBaby.com, Globespan -There are always plenty of local taxis available from the airport and the fare should be around 35 euros -Local taxis into Fuengirola - fare should be around 10 euros -Car Hire - recommend e-sixt car hire booking through the flymonarch website

Further details indoors: Our apartment features a lounge with French doors to the terrace, air conditioning, 32” plasma TV with satellite channels, DVD and a CD/MP3 player, dining area. The dining kitchen fully fitted with oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a small patio for clothes drying and storage. 3 bedrooms - master bedroom with French doors to the terrace, air conditioning and large mirrored wardrobes with a safe deposit box - 2nd bedroom with 2 x single beds, large mirrored wardrobe and a ceiling fan – 3rd bedroom also with 2 x single beds, large mirrored wardrobe and a ceiling fan. Main bathroom with shower over bath and the 2nd bathroom has a shower cubicle. The large terrace has a dining table which comfortably seats 6 people, 2 sun loungers and a bistro table and chairs. We also have a selection of reading books to suit all tastes. We also have a fold up single bed which can be used for child in the master bedroom and also a travel cot.
Further details outdoors: The large terrace has a bistro table, which is great for breakfast in the early morning sun. A large dining table which seats a minimum of 6 and is great for Al Fresco dining and relaxing drinks in the evening. We also have 2 sun longers and cushions which are great for sunbathing in the morning or an afternoon siesta.
Puebla Aida has a choice of 4 swimming pools beautiful gardens and walkways which are maintained by our 4 full time gardeners. There is a Boules court in Puebla Aida and there are a couple of boule sets in the apartment.

Towels are provided but please supply your own beach towels. Bed linen will be changed weekly. There is also a weekly maid service. A welcome pack can also be provided on request.
