From a lovely enclosed courtyard, you enter the villa through a large wooden door into a spacious hall area. Leading off the hall are the two lower bedrooms, the stairs to the upper floor and directly ahead of you is the spacious lounge with decorative fireplace and leather lounge suite, with patio doors leading on to the private swimming pool and garden.
From the dining room you access the large, beautifully appointed dining kitchen with laundry room with washing machine leading off. The kitchen also leads out to a BBQ area and access to the pool and garden.
Also on this floor is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath, overhead shower, WC and twin wash-hand basins; and a twin-bedded room with shower room adjacent with shower, WC and wash-hand basin.
On the upper floor there are two further double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms containing bath, overhead shower, WC, and twin wash-hand basins. Both bedrooms on the upper floor have patio doors leading onto a lovely patio area with views of the golf course and the mountains of Mijas.
The property is fully air-conditioned, fitted with satellite TV, and has loads of cupboard space.

Off the lounge is the dining room, also with patio doors leading onto the pool and garden, and with a lovely outdoor sun terrace/dining area perfect for al-fresco dining.
The garden area is secure for children although we always specify that care should be taken around the swimming pool especially with very young children. If the kids need further stimulation the Aqua Park and beach is within easy driving distance. For those without children who just want to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, then this villa is the ideal spot.
Outside the entrance gate there is parking for two car.

The Costa del Sol region
Mijas Golf is close to Fuengirola and the coast in the heart of the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. It is set between the Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra de Mijas producing a micro- climate with over 320 days of sunshine per year. Summers are hot but the villa benefits from cool breezes drawn inland from the sea. Winters are mild often with daytime temperatures of 20 degrees. Altogether it is a healthy, relaxing and happy climate in which to live.
The Spanish tourist resort of Fuengirola is only 10 minute drive away with a huge selection of shops,restaurants,bars and nightclubs and the longest beach on the Costa Del Sol. The town centre has an attractive, traditional Spanish plaza known as "Church Square" where you can mingle with the locals and watch the world go by. The long sandy beaches are clean with great facilities and lifeguards in the summer.
La Cala is a pretty fishing village with a great beach and is a 15 minute drive away.
Mijas Pueblo is one of the oldest Spanish whitewashed villages with spectacular views to the coast. Traditional cobbled streets, a bullring, pretty plazas, individual shops, a wide range of bars and restaurants and numerous places of interest make Mijas a must to visit.
Benalmadena Costa and Puerto Banus offer pretty marinas where you can admire the impressive yachts as well as shop, eat and drink. Both resorts have beaches so there is something for everyone.
Local attractions also include local markets, a water park, shopping centre, cinema with English films, a zoo, mini-golf, a Sealife aquarium, bullfighting, horseriding, quadbiking and 2 x 18 hole golf courses (Los Lagos and Los Olivios) During the summer months you will also be able to experience the local fiestas and ferias where the Spanish have their traditional processions and parties.
The Mijas Golf area
The location of the villa is quiet and private with stunning views over the golf course and beyond to Fuengirola and the Mediterranean Sea. Nonetheless, it is not isolated, enjoying easy access to a full range of amenities such as restaurants, supermarkets, medical services and motorways.
The villa is ideally located to satisfy the many interests and needs of visitors. Fuengirola, some 4 kms away, provides safe sandy beaches, the water park and many shops. The area is rich in restaurants catering for all tastes, from inexpensive ventas to elegant restaurants offering the best of haute cuisine.
For the sports enthusiast, there are said to be more than fifty golf courses nearby. Tennis and horse riding are available and the Mijas Race Course is only ten minutes away.
Marbella and Puerto Banus, with its famous marina, new shopping mall, restaurants and night spots, are half an hour’s drive away. Within a two hour drive are Gibraltar with its English shops, Granada with its Alhambra Palace, Cordoba with its fabulous Mesquita and Ronda with its famous viaduct and bull ring. For the even more active, there is quad-bike racing, tennis and also winter sports can be enjoyed on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada, again less than two hours drive away. In all, a super base for exploring Andalucia.
Alternatively, Villa Casita can simply be a place to quietly unwind, read and relax.
