Matchroom Country Club enjoys an exclusive front-line location on one of Europe´s most prestigious golf courses,Los Lagos,Mijas Golf.Popular with families and golfers alike it is an ideal holiday destination.

The lively clubhouse has a bar and restaurant with, weekly, live entertainment for residents. There are three full size snooker tables for guests to enjoy. The two heated outdoor swimming pools are amongst sub tropical gardens, overlooking the golf course. A tennis/Padel court is also available for guests to use.

Indoor facilities boast a gymnasium, Jacuzzi, heated pool and Sauna.

The Mijas Golf / Los Lagos, Mijas Golf area

Matchroom is perfectly located to visit Fuengirola, which is one of the most popular beach resorts on the coast.
It has everything you need for a great day out, with 6km of promenade lined with various bars and restaurants including British or traditional Spanish Tapas.
For the children there is a nearby waterpark and Zoo.
Fuengirola also has a very busy nightlife for those wishing to dance the night away.

There is also a regular bus and train service linking the nearby towns and cities of Marbella,Malaga and Benalmadena.
The local fair in October is a must, where people of all ages spend a whole week partying in the streets, mostly on horseback and in full flamenco attire.

Mijas Village set high up behind the main coast, offers spectacular views and offers a variety of shops and local musuems to visit.Kids can even try a Donkey Taxi ride around the village square.

From Málaga airport turn right onto the N340 direction Cadiz. Take the E15/N340 about 3 km further on signposted Algeciras/Benalmádena. Continue on this road following the directions for Fuengirola. DO NOT take the "peaje" (tollroad) to Marbella.

There are several exits in Fuengirola, keep going until you see on your right the "Euromarket" and over the road a sign that says "Esta usted en las Lagunas de Mijas". Take the next exit marked "Fuengirola Coin". At the roundabout turn first right towards Coin which is also sign posted for "Hotel Byblos". Keep on that road for about two miles until you pass under a bridge and on your right you see a sign "Restaurante el Golf" together with another sign saying "for Matchroom turn right here". Once you have turned right, you will pass the restaurant "El Golf" on your left, past a building called "Valleverde" and then there is Matchroom.
Car Hire can be arranged also.
