The whole area from Fuengirola to Mijas Costa that inlcudes Calahonda, Miraflores and Riviera del Sol make an ideal destination for people looking for a family holiday.Situated alongside the 12 hole Los Olivos course at Mijas Golf, everything you will need for a comfortable and relaxing stay is provided here within the Villa.
The large terrace with views of the golf course and dining outside,another terrace offers a large barbecue area.
You'll find getting to the Mijas Golf quick and straightforward directly from Malaga airport or Fuengirola train station.
Located less than 10 minutes drive from the popular beaches of Fuengirola and Mijas, one of the favourites being Mijas Costa with a wide selection of beach bars and restaurants close at hand.

Mijas Costa
Cala Mijas is the first beach of an extensive sandbank formed by three beaches. Torrevieja Beach, also called La Butibamba Beach, extends up to Cala Mijas Beach
Fuengirola is with seven kilometres of beautifully kept white sandy beaches and one of the longest promenades on the Costa del Sol. Fuengirola is a paradise for sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts.
The coastal town offers a wealth of facilities and entertainment including a zoo and water fun park . It has one of the most popular markets on the coast every Tuesday attracting regular visitors from other neighbouring towns and villages. It is also the last stop west on the coastal train route that takes you directly to the airport and the centre of Malaga.
A fabulous Parque Miramar shopping centre and multi -screen cinema has just been completed on the outskirts of the town which is the second largest mall on the coast. Within a short walking distance across the bridge is the popular Dunnes store with a large selection of English brand food and clothing in UK sizes.

Calahonda
It is the beach Calahonda that gives the name to the urban development that stays in the opposite side of the highway N-340.
Fuengirola is with seven kilometres of beautifully kept white sandy beaches and one of the longest promenades on the Costa del Sol. Fuengirola is a paradise for sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts.
Cabopino an old fortified watchtower still stands proudly by the sand dunes alongside the beach. From its priviledged position it is possible to see all along the coast to Marbella and Gibraltar and Africa beyond, a spectacular backdrop for a spectacular beach. Cabopino is well sheltered and protected from the elements, and artificial reefs on either side of the beach keep the waves and wind at bay. Lifeguards - on duty throughout the summer - combined with the beach's gentle slope into the sea, make Cabopino child-friendly and safe.
The sand is well maintained, clean and of a superior quality to other beaches along the Costa del Sol, making Cabopino the ideal place for the child in all of us to build our very own sandcastle in the sun. Chiringitos (beachside bars and restaurants) are plentiful here and are renowned for their excellent quality. Costa del Sol residents come from far and wide to sample Cabopino's specialty, superb seafood at prices that won't break the bank.
Mijas Golf
There are two popular 18 hole courses located here, Los Olivos and Los Lagos
Los Olivos
The main feature which distinguishes this course from The Lakes is the abundance of trees – hence the name – and its smaller size, as well as fewer water hazards. The greens are smaller, undulating and well defended.
Los Olivos is a course best suited for players gifted with a higher technical ability and precision in their game.
Los Lagos
With its 6,367 metres, this course is the longer of the two which comprise of Mijas Golf. Los Lagos is a ground course with wide fairways and a few forest trees obstacles, but is defended by many bunkers and nine lakes, from which the course gets its name and which easily trap the ball.

We went on holiday with a 6 week old a 10 year old and some friends th e villa was safe and was great for all ages . we had a fab time and the manager looked after us well we had a fab holiday and would return any time . |
