About the home

Relax in this beautiful front line garden level apartment. Its a home from home for sun worshippers, families or golfers. The view looks directly onto the 5th tee of Los Lagos golf course. It is large and modern with two bedrooms (one with double bed and one with double & single bed), two bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen including oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dish-washer. The apartment has satellite TV and two double sofa beds. The west facing terrace has a dining area for those al-fresco meals as well as the dining area inside the apartment.

You can choose from La Cala de Mijas or Fuengirola beaches just 10 minutes drive away or just relax by the pool.

This two bed, two bath, apartment is bright spacious and airy. The has an excellent view of the golf course and the distant mountains. It is comfortably furnished. TV, DVD,Stereo CD player and Playstation 2 are all provided. The television has a skybox attached and BBC1,2,3,4 and Sky news well as numerous other English speaking stations are available. Spanish terrestrial digital television is also available.
There are two comfortable sofa's which both convert into double beds.

The Kitchen is well appointed with Cooker, Microwave, washing machine, dish washer and Fridge freezer. There is a utility room with lots of storage room.

The dining table can comfortably accommodate 6 people. The master bedroom is overlooking the golf course and has patio doors onto the terrace, fitted wardrobes, bedside tables and chest of drawers. The En suite is equipped with shower/bath, double wash hand basins, toilet and bidet. The second bedroom has 1 single bed and one double bed, fitted wardrobes and bedside lockers. The second bathroom has a shower, toilet and wash hand basin.

Further details outdoors:
The patio is large, facing west and has beautiful views of the Mijas Golf course. The patio dining table can easily facilitate 6 people. A very comfortable sun lounger is provided. Towels for use at the apartment are provided.
There is a communal swimming pool which is heated in the winter. There are numerous sun loungers and sun umbrellas for you to relax and enjoy.
The development next door has a bar and restaurant which welcomes visitors from Las Golondrinas and during the summer there is entertainment most nights including a flamenco night.

Also within walking distance is a mini-supermarket, the Restaurant ‘El Golf’ and three Spanish Venta’s, Hoyo 19, La Morena and El Cortijo for the more traditional Spanish fare.

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa Del Sol region is known for its long sunny days, magnificent beaches and mountain views. For the more adventurous, the historical old town of Granada and the amazing Alhambra Palace are both just a few hours drive away or you can go skiing in the Sierra Nevadas. You can take a spectacular train journey to the beautiful mountain town of Ronda or visit the rock of Gibraltar, less than one and a half hour's drive away, and see the famous Barbary Apes and pick up your duty free goods at rock bottom prices.

Flights:
There are many flights from The UK to Malaga with BA, EasyJet or BMI. From Ireland both Aer Lingus and Ryanair have flights from Dublin, Cork or Belfast.

Car Hire:
Car hire is available at the airport and is relatively cheap in Spain. We will provide you with exact directions from the Airport to the Apartment and it's only a 20 minute drive.

Taxi:
A taxi from the airport to the apartment should cost about €40.

Train:
You can get the train from the Airport to Fuengirola for just €2.15per person. The train journey takes about 40 minutes as it makes many stops. I suggest that when you arrive in Fuengirola that you take a taxi from the train station to the apartment which will cost about €12.00.

“simply the best !!!!!” let me start by saying that as a frequent visitor to fuengirola (12 yrs ) this is quiet simply the best place by a million miles ive stayed in for me and my young family, las golondrinas is a beautiful complex built around the edge of the stunning mijas golf, its around 5 mins or so travelling by car into the well known resort of fuengirola, the appartment itself is like home from home, very clean, tidy it has everything you will need to make your stay such a pleasent and enjoyable one from the minute you arrive . angela the owner is a lovely lady great to deal with on the phone, she makes everything so simple and is always on hand to ans any of your questions , the appartment itslef is 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms with a large living room and ample size kitchen , it has everything , the ground floor being a bonus as your young kids can run around the secure garden area whilst you lounge around the lovely big patio area with brand new patio and sunlounger chairs, last thing im gonna mention is the price because at £400 a week( peak summertime ) or less during different seasons of the year its an absolute bargain, book now you wont be dissapointed!!!
