Situated alongside the 11 hole of the Los Olivos course at Mijas Golf, this well appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom penthouse apartment is available for rent.

The apartment has been used as the main residence of the owner for several years and has been furnished to a high standard rather than using cheap fixtures and fittings for rental purposes. Everything you will need for a comfortable and relaxing stay is provided here both within the apartment and in the grounds that offer 3 communal pools.

The large terrace and roof terrace offer panoramic views of the golf course and mountains and if you like relaxing and dining outside you can use the roof terrace offering a barbecue area. You'll find getting to La Siesta quick and straightforward directly from Malaga airport or Fuengirola train station though to gain the full benefits the area has to offer we do recommend you hire a car, which we can arrange for you as an extra service. Located less than 10 minutes drive from the popular beaches of Fuengirola and Mijas, one of the favourites being Mijas Costa with a wide selection of beach bars and restaurants close at hand.

The Costa del Sol region

The whole area from Fuengirola to Mijas costa that includes Calahonda, Miraflores and Riviera del sol make an ideal destination for people looking for a family holiday.

Fuengirola is with seven kilometres of beautifully kept white sandy beaches and one of the longest promenades on the Costa del Sol. Fuengirola is a paradise for sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts.
The coastal town offers a wealth of facilities and entertainment including a zoo and water fun park . It has one of the most popular markets on the coast every Tuesday attracting regular visitors from other neighbouring towns and villages. It is also the last stop west on the coastal train route that takes you directly to the airport and the centre of Malaga.

A fabulous Parque Miramar shopping centre and multi -screen cinema has just been completed on the outskirts of the town which is the second largest mall on the coast. Within a short walking distance across the bridge is the popular Dunnes store with a large selection of English brand food and clothing in UK sizes.

Calahonda
It is the beach Calahonda that gives the name to the urban development that stays in the opposite side of the highway N-340.

Fuengirola
Fuengirola is with seven kilometres of beautifully kept white sandy beaches and one of the longest promenades on the Costa del Sol. Fuengirola is a paradise for sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts.

Cabopino
An old fortified watchtower still stands proudly by the sand dunes alongside the beach. From its priviledged position it is possible to see all along the coast to Marbella and Gibraltar and Africa beyond, a spectacular backdrop for a spectacular beach. Cabopino is well sheltered and protected from the elements, and artificial reefs on either side of the beach keep the waves and wind at bay. Lifeguards - on duty throughout the summer - combined with the beach's gentle slope into the sea, make Cabopino child-friendly and safe. The sand is well maintained, clean and of a superior quality to other beaches along the Costa del Sol, making Cabopino the ideal place for the child in all of us to build our very own sandcastle in the sun. Chiringitos (beachside bars and restaurants) are plentiful here and are renowned for their excellent quality. Costa del Sol residents come from far and wide to sample Cabopino's specialty, superb seafood at prices that won't break the bank.

Los Olivos
The main feature which distinguishes this course from The Lakes is the abundance of trees – hence the name – and its smaller size, as well as fewer water hazards. The greens are smaller, undulating and well defended. Los Olivos is a course best suited for players gifted with a higher technical ability and precision in their game.

Los Lagos
With its 6,367 metres, this course is the longer of the two which comprise of Mijas Golf. Los Lagos is a ground course with wide fairways and a few forest trees obstacles, but is defended by many bunkers and nine lakes, from which the course gets its name and which easily trap the ball.
