The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Malaga Airport is only 25 minutes drive away.

There is plenty to see and do around Mijas Costa. The various safe and clean beaches are within a short drive, with all the water sports you would expect from a Mediterranean resort. Less than a 15 minute drive takes you to the bustling and vibrant town of Fuengirola, where you will find bars, restaurants and entertainment to suit everyone.
Golf courses are in abundance, with Miraflores, La Cala and Alhaurin only 15 mins away by car.
An Aquapark is just down the road.Fuengirola Zoo is new, at dusk they change the animals from daytime to nocturnal.
Selwo Wild Life Park is about 50 minutes
Tivoli World, is a small theme park in Benalmedena, where you will also find the Crocodile Park, Seaworld and Selwo Dolphin Park
The old and historical towns of Grenada and Seville are about 2 hours drive. Excursions run daily from Fuengirola.
Visit the Rock of Gibraltar, here you can see the Barbary Apes, the Siege Tunnels and St Michael's Caves. Shopping here is duty free!


Mijas Golf area

Mijas Golf, Mijas Costa is situated on the outskirts of Fuengirola. La Siesta overlooks Los Olivos, Mijas Golf, from here you can watch the golfers pass, or a short drive to the Club house, for lunch or a drink. A car would be required to get to all the local attractions, although there are bars, restaurants and a shop nearby. Opposite, is a large park area where barbecues are provided free of charge, you can take your own food and cook it 'al fresco' making use of the bar facilities as well. Near by is the Tamisa Golf Hotel, where you can relax in the poolside bar, or enjoy a meal in the restaurant or on the terrace. The location is quiet and relaxing but near enough to the hustle and bustle. DIRECTIONS FROM MALAGA AIRPORT
As you come out of the Airport take the signs to ' E15 - N340 Malaga/Cadiz'
Over roundabout and stay in right hand lane to take N340 Torremolinos/Cadiz.
Approximately 2.2km stay in right hand lane and take road signed 'E15 - N340 to Benalmadena & Algeciras.(you pass exit for Coin Churrina & Parador de Golf)
Travel approximately 20km and just after footbridge which crosses road take exit marked Fuengirola/Mijas
(The following are exit roads you will pass before getting to this exit:- 1. Torremolinos, Palacio de Congresos ((& past Repsol motorway service station)). 2. Exit 222 Benalmedena Arroya de Miel, ((at this point the signpost changes to Algecira Fuengirola)) 3. Exit 217 Benalmedena - Mijas.)
Just after the neon direction sign, get into right hand lane and take A7/ N340 Costa (exit 214) to Fuengirola. Algerciras. (NOT E15 toll Road marked Marbella/ Algerciras)
(Past following exits:- 1 Mijas/Fuengirola. 2. Fuengirola/Los Boliches. 3. Fuengirola/Mijas. 4 Fuengirola)
At 5th exit take road for Fuengirola/Coin, at roundabout take right exit to Coin.
Travel down this winding road for about 3km until you get to the Hotel Tamisa Golf (you will pass a BP garage on left, a set of traffic lights, Repsol garage on right, two restaurants on either side of the road called Hoyo 19 & Moreno).
Turn right into Hotel Tamisa Golf,
Please note that the occupation of your apartment may not be until 4 pm.

Create a culinary delight in the kitchen, using the abundance of locally grown vegetables, fruit and freshly caught fish. Serve either in the dining area or on the terrace. Relax in the apartment’s air conditioned lounge watching satellite T.V or out on the patio, enjoying the panoramic views.

There is ample parking and restaurants are nearby. A quiet location but within easy access to the beach, golf courses, shops and other attractions, but a car is recommended.

* Full balance of payment must be made 6 weeks prior to holiday commencement.
* A £150.00 (200.00 Euro) deposit is required with final payment, this is held against damage and breakages, and is fully refundable via bank transfer on inspection of apartment after departure.
* No groups considered, when all members of the party are under 30 years of age.
* If due to circumstances beyond our control the accommodation booked becomes unavailable coincidental with the clients scheduled time of residence we will do everything within our power to offer the client alternative accommodation to the same or of a similar specification. If this cannot be met a full refund will be made.
* All clients must have adequate holiday and personal medical insurance, which can be arranged, if the client elects to arrange his/her own cover we request the name of the insurer and the policy no.
* Any accident of whatever nature that occurs within the booked accommodation for whatever reason is the responsibility of the respective client, not agent or the owner.
* No Pets

4 weeks deposit plus 40%
2 weeks deposit plus 60%
1 week deposit plus 80%

Augst 2008 - Wonderful ground floor apartment - ideal with children. Lovely spacious apartment with most things that a family would require - only downside was the lack of sunloungers for use by all the party. Area is ideal for exploring the surrounding area - car needed - Jo


June 2008 - Thanks again for a wonderful holiday. The apartment was ideal for us. Lovely sunny garden and pool area, beauifully kept. Some nice restaurants nearby and you were right, Fuengirloa is only a short drive away, with everything you need. See you next year.
