This lovely two bedroom beach apartment is situated in the lovely resort of Calahonda. Just 20kms from Marbella and 36kms from Malaga Airport.

The resort complex has secluded beautiful gardens with a pool & beach access. The beach & pool are less than 1 minute walk. There is a supermarket 4 mins walk with a wide variety of restaurants and other shops.

The spacious apartment is on 2 floors with a Master bedroom with double bed, private Wc & sink and stunning views. The second bedroom is a twin room. The bathroom has a shower, bidet, Wc & sink. The ground floor is open plan with a corner sofa bed, Plasma Tv, Dvd, kitchen & dining table. This opens out onto a beautiful terrace with patio furniture & umbrella. Two sun loungers for soaking up the rays are on the lawn in front.

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa del Sol has more than just fabulous beaches and sun - with a history tinged with Roman and Moorish influences and rugged inland towns that are still predominantly olive farming communities, the Costa del Sol has something to offer everyone.

The area is home to a number of renowned coastal tourist resorts, but it is still possible to find areas where the traditional low rise white washed buildings predominate, such as Nerja and Gaucin, both in the province of Málaga . Nerja, an old fishing village, still has an old quarter with winding streets, despite 16 km of dazzling beaches, while the cliff-top village Gaucin has a just handfull of local restaurants.

The Mijas Costa / La Cala de Mijas area

This area has miles of sandy beaches, flanked by high-rise hotels and residential blocks of apartments with magnificent views of the Mediterranean and sweeping coastline. It is within half an hour of Malaga airport.
Fuengirola has an impressive castle, most likely of Roman origin, situated outside the town on a hill. Its marina is home to some impressive yachts, leisure craft and fishing boats. The beaches at Fuengirola, Los Boliches - Gaviotas and Torreblanca are rated European blue flag. There are special areas designated for Windsurfing, beach volleyball and other water sports.

High above Fuengirola and Mijas Costa, Mijas still retains much of its charm with little whitewashed houses perched on the hillside and the donkey-taxis which line the central plaza. There are spectacular views of the coast and surrounding heavily wooded mountains from its narrow cobbled streets.

Mijas Costa is the place to go for sun, sand and water sports. The beaches at La Cala have been awarded the "Blue Flag".

The Mijas municipality includes Sitio de Calahonda, known as the English village - the place to come for pubs, karaoke, second hand shops, British doctors and dentists and Indian restaurants - and Riviera del Sol, also popular with foreigners with its large commercial centre and well equipped sports centre which includes an 18 hole golf course and tennis club. There are lots of pretty coves and beaches and the accommodation complexes are generally well designed.
