About the home

Situated on the top floor this beautifully furnished apartment has fantastic views over Calanova golf course and then of course of the Mediterranean Sea. The spacious terrace also overlooks one of the community swimming pools.

On entering the apartment you encounter the open plan lounge and dining area. The dining room table comfortably seats 4 people should you opt to dine in of an evening. The lounge has a three seater and two seater sofa which are ideal should you choose to laze around out of the sun and maybe watch a DVD (remember to bring your own favourites!)or catch up on your favourite programmes. The lounge and dining area are incredibly light and airy as the terrace has large patio windows that lead out onto the terrace.The fully equipped kitchen will provide you with everything you will need whilst on holiday be it for a light snack or a full blown evening meal.

The master bedroom has a large double bed and has its own exit onto the large terrace. The en suite bathroom comprises vanity unit, toilet, bidet, bath and shower.

Bedroom two has twin beds and also has use of a separate bathroom comprising vanity unit, toilet, bidet, bath and shower, and again boasts access to the large terrace.

The large terrace has a dining table should eating out be your choice on those warm summer nights and also has furniture where you can relax and maybe catch up on some reading.

This apartment has been finished to the highest quality and will be an ideal stay for a relaxing holiday.

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa del Sol offers everything you could wish for from a holiday. It has 300 days of sunshine, over 60 magnificent golf courses, water parks, designer & high street shopping, boat trips & water sports, fishing, Zoo & safari parks, beautiful beaches etc. You can even go Skiing in Sierra Nevada if you tire of the sun. You can visit Malaga city which offers historical buildings, art museums e.g. the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, cathedrals, bull rings and even a bull fight! Ronda & Nerja are also two villages close by if you fancy taking a day trip. There are weekly markets in most areas ask for details.

The Mijas Costa / Calanova Seagolf area

The long blue flag beaches are well cared for, clean and have soft golden sand. Whilst La Cala has maintained a level of the real Spain it has also taken on, in a small way, something of an international flavour. La Cala has a number of excellent restaurants ranging from tapas bars, chirungitas to haute cuisine and there are also many bars and shops to choose from. There is a weekly market every Wednesday until 2pm.There are an abundance of good quality sports and recreation facilities both in and around La Cala de Mijas. The tennis club "Club del Sol" welcomes all new comers as does the Lawn bowls centre at Miraflores. There are gymnasiums, dive centres and virtually every outdoor activity within minutes of the village. For the keen golfer there are a multitude of courses in the area to name but a few, La Cala Golf, Mijas Golf, Santana Golf and El Chaparral all of which are within a fifteen minute drive.

Horse riding in the hills behind La Cala is a must if you enjoy this activity but if your interest in horses is strictly as a spectator, then the Hippodrome race track may well be for you. The "Hipodromo del Costa del Sol" is just on the outskirts of La Cala and makes for a great family night out during the summer months.

La Cala as a holiday base is perfect throughout the whole year. The climate is such that you will be able to enjoy the seamless indoor / outdoor lifestyle which has made the Costs del Sol so popular for so many years. Within easy striking distance of La Cala de Mijas are all of the internationally famous names such as Puerto Banus, Marbella and Fuengirola.

For the kids there is lots to do, La Cala is not far from Tivoli World, the Fuengirola Zoo, Sea Life and then of course the wonderful beaches and Water parks - and for the "big kids" Marbella Casino, The Hipodromo and so much more.
