About the home

A tastefully furnished and spacious 2bed 2bath air conditioned apartment with a large private balcony in the Cala Azul complex located very close to the centre of the beautiful village of La Cala de Mijas.

Its less than a 10 minute flat walk to the local outdoor market (Wednesday & Saturday) where you can browse for local bargains. The blue flag beach is close by with very good local restaurants on your doorstep

The Cala Azul apartment is the perfect holiday accommodation to provide a comfortable and enjoyable family break in the stunning location of Mijas Costa,with the larger resorts of Fuengirola, Benalmadna, Calahonda & Marbella only a short drive away with an excellent bus service available.

The master bedroom has access through patio windows onto the large terrace and is completed with bedroom furniture and fitted wardrobes. The twin bedroom again has fitted wardrobes giving you lots of storage space.

There are 2 bathrooms, the first has a bath and a shower and the second is a shower room both with wc's and basins.

The lounge is extremely comfortable with large comfortable sofas, tv, dvd and dining area to seat 4.

Off the lounge you step on to your large terrace which is perfect for dining al fresco and is also great for guests with young children as it is fullye enclosed.

The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, oven/hob, fridge freezer, toaster, microwave etc.

The complex has excellant facilites with its pools areas, large separate specially designed sunbathing deck and private underground parking if you are hiring.

All in all this is a perfect spot to enjoy your holiday in La Cala de Mijas

The Costa del Sol region

La Cala is a beautilf village positioned in between the larger towns of Fuengirola and Marbella. It is central to the beach & all the amenities that Mijas Costa has to offer.

There are numerous bars and restaurants offering a wide variety of cuisines to suit all tastes.

There are also supermarkets, car hire shops, newsagents, medical centres, and numerous places to exchange your money

The Aqua Park , Horse Racing ( The only course in Spain) , Go Karting , Dolphin Centre, Zoo , Adventure parks are all within easy reaching distance.

Close by are Fuengirola, Cabopino ,Marbella , Puerto Banus, Benalmadena and Torremolinos which are a must to visit. All have their own very special character and cater for all tastes from shopping through to restaraunts to make your stay thoroughly enjoyable.

In addition there is also Gibralter for tax free shopping which is only a short trip away and Mijas Village about 15 minutes in a car which is a glorious little spanish village great for panoramic views of the countryside & is known to all as the white villages of Mijas.

For keen Golfers we have it all in Mijas Costa with at least 20 courses all within easy reaching distance with Valderama being world famous.

The Mijas Costa / La Cala de Mijas area

La Cala de Mijas is perfect for family holidays as its central to all that the activity that the Costa del Sol has to offer. Marbella is about 12 km away whilst Fuengirola is 10 km away with the famous Puerto Banus about 20km.

In the summer there are festivals which take place from shows to music to keep the family entertained information can be provided on request.

There is a market on Wednesday & Saturday well worth a visit for bargains.
