This two bedroom, two bathroom ground floor apartment is just 2 years old and benefits from being just a 10 minute walk to the beach and local bars and restaurants of La Cala de Mijas on the Mijas Costa.
Just a 25 minute drive from Malaga Airport and close to some of Spain's best golf courses. There is a local market just a 5 minute walk away on Wednesdays and Saturdays. During the summer months there is also horse-racing at the local Hipodromo Racetrack in the hills of La Cala.
La Cala, formerly a fishing village, oozes charm and still maintains the roots of it's Spanish culture and a taste of real Spain. Ideal for family holidays or couples wishing to get away from it all to relax and enjoy.
All in all a lovely compact, well equipped apartment in a very good location where the sun shines for 300 days of the year - can't be missed!

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
La Cala is a small fishing village in between Fuengirola and Marbella and just a 25 minute drive from Malaga International Airport. The long sweeping sandy beaches of La Cala are perfect for families and a small playground area just in front of the beach is an ideal place for the children to play. There is a small square and an excellent ice cream parlour just in front of the beach where it is safe for children whilst looking out across the sea (Gibraltar Rock can be seen on a clear day).
There is a water slide fun park in Fuengirola, just 5 km away (10 mins drive). The old Mijas Pueblo (old town) is a definate must, the small white sugar cube houses set on the mountain side and the old small narrow cobbled streets of Mijas must be visited as this is a taste of real "old Spain". But don't just take my word for it, go and see it for yourself and as an added bonus the sun shines in this part of Spain for 300 days of a year!
Mijas Costa / La Cala de Mijas area
There are three competition standard golf courses in the area at La Cala and Mijas Golf, Santana Golf and El Chaparral.
La Cala has a local market twice a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays, here you can buy anything from fresh produce to beach wear to shoes/sandals or household goods. Please note the market is not there whilst the Fair is in town between 23rd and 27th July

There are two sets of patio doors - one set from the reception and the other from the master bedroom - leading on to the large terrace area.
The fully fitted kitchen is complete with granite work surfaces and appliances as listed plus a washing machine. Crockery, glasses, cutlery, cooking implements, ironing board & iron making this kitchen complete.

There are a wide number of restaurants at La Cala offering cosmopolitan cuisine including, English, Chinese, Thai, Indian and Portuguese, plus of course, a wide variety of Spanish restaurants all keen to delight and tempt you with their culinary skills.
Conditions
Please note that there will be a £100 deposit payable in addition to rental cost, this is to cover any damages in the property and/or excessive use of the air conditioning.
This deposit will be returned in full (subject to full property inspection and electric metre reading) within 14 days of your departure from the apartment. For the record we have never had to make any deductions to date and the monies have been returned in full to date.
Due to the reasonable rates that we offer this apartment no spare linen/towels are at the property. If you would like a linen/towel change please let us know at time of booking. There is an additional charge for this service and it should be paid locally.
Smoking is strictly not permitted inside the apartment however we have no objection to smoking out on the terrace. (Failure to comply with this term may result in deductions being made from your deposit).
