Home description
Terrazas Del Sol is situated on the upper part of Riviera Del Sol. It is a brand new complex with two private pools, a grassed sunbathing area and underground parking accessed by an elevator. Quiet and peaceful, yet a 15 min drive either by the new A7 motorway or the national coast road the N-340 to some of the livelier towns such as Marbella, Puerto Banus popular for its inter jet set , Mijas, Fuengirola and Benalmadena.
Although you need a car, all amenities are close by with 40 golf courses on the Coast, direct access to the beach where you can find every type of nautical sports, and in the winter months skiing is about 2 hrs away in Sierra Nevada.
The apartment benefits from the sun all day into the early evening, it can be enjoyed on the balcony which has been furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With one queen and one twin bedroom, the apartment is ideal for two couples or a family, surrounded by many things to see and do.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol stretches along over 150 kilometres of Malaga province and is one of Spain's most popular destinations. Many fine beaches are just waiting for you on both the western and eastern Costa del Sol. The closest one is Riviera beach which is 1,6 km from the apartment. Cabopino and Cabopino beach are also situated on the coast, halfway between Fuengirola and Marbella.
Miles of beautiful sandy beaches with water sports, fishing and boat trips. There is also a pleasant harbour and renowned restaurants. Cabopino is one of the Costa del Sol best kept secret. The average temperature year around on the Costa del Sol is 22 Cels. and it has over 300 days of sunshine. The water temperature is an average of 18 deg., with 24 deg. in August.
There is a nice little town only five minutes from Riviera which is called La Cala. There you can find over a dozen restaurants and bars. Another town you can't miss visiting is Marbella, with one of the most delightful promenades on the Costa del Sol. You will find classy restaurants with excellent dining, ice cream parlour and tapas bars overlooking the beach front. Another nice place to visit in Marbella is the Viejo Casco(old town), especially the orange square, which will bring you to a host of street restaurants in th old part of Marbella. Only walking through its narrow streets is worth the visit. You also can't miss Puerto Banus, which is about 30 min. drive.
You'll be amazed just looking at the mega rich yachts in the port. Along the streets are world famous fashion shops. The nightlife is buzzing with an incredible choice of bars and restaurants overlooking the marina. If you're ready to explore a bit further, there is a spectacular village which is called Ronda. It is about an hour drive and this village has breath taking views. It is famous throughout Spain for its plunging river gorge and bridge. The only setback is finding the time to visit all the attractions between Nerja and Gibraltar. Enjoy the most of it!!!
Mijas Costa / Riviera del Sol area
Besides different shops, restaurants, bars and supermarket you can find directly in Riviera, we suggest that you visit Mijas pueblo, which is about 20 minutes drive from Riviera. It is one of the prettiest villages in Spain. This traditional village has breath taking views. You can tour the village on the famous Donkey taxis. Enjoy the ride! Riviera has its own beach:There you can find Max Beach restaurant and Bar directly on the beach.
You can enjoy a nice day with your children in Mijas water park, which is located along the N-340 national road heading towards Malaga. Open from 10:30 hrs to 18:00 hrs.
There is also Mijas Hippodrome, which is situated a few kilometres from Riviera. There are also many organised trips to Morocco, Ronda and Gibraltar available to book in the village.
How to get there
All major airlines and charters fly to Malaga. Once there we recommend you to rent a car through the car rental services below. If not you have the option to use a taxi and it will drive you the short 25min drive from the airport. You also have the option of arriving by train to Fuengirola or by ferry to Gibraltar It can't be easier then that, which ever way you choose you'll be starting your vacation within 25min.

Further details indoors: This is a luxurious and spacious apartment furnished with high end furniture. Modern yet cosy, you will find a fully equipped living room with a 37in flat lcd screen, home cinema, sky satellite, all this so that you can enjoy your game or movie.
The apartment has a fully fitted kitchen with microwave, cooker, oven, large American style fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and clothes dryer. It has a secure underground parking and lifts to the apartment. It is equipped with air conditioning and heating.
You can enjoy nice sunsets from the terrace which is equipped with a comfortable patio set. Enjoying the scenery while having a drink is one of the great moments of the day. After experiencing a day full of activities or simply enjoying the beach, you can enjoy a good night sleep in one of the two comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed and the second one with two single beds.
Further details outdoors: Very close by are two golf courses named Miraflores, and a new golf course opened this year in the upper part of Riviera - Calanova Golf these are two of 40 golf courses you can find on the coast, a paradise for golfers.
You also have plenty of choice for dining: from typical Spanish cuisine to Italian, you can enjoy good seafood, fish, paella or plenty of Spanish tapas which are excellent.
At the bottom of Riviera there is a park, shops, supermarket, bars, restaurants, and a taxi rank. The Aztec Country Club provides an Olympic size pool, tennis, badminton, gym, game room, internet centre, mini golf, not to mention the beauty salon / hair dressers, physiotherapist and a dance studio. It is opened to non-residents not only provides great food at a reasonable price, but evening entertainments for all ages.

Great Condo felt like home and better. The kids loved the home theatre and we just fell in love with the layout and the decor.
