They afford views over landscaped community gardens, soft sandy beach and of course, the Mediterranean.On a clear day you can see Gibraltar and the North African Coast. The nicely designed pool is within the secured gardens and is shared by only a small number of apartments that make up this block. Although not very high, the apartment block has a lift. Parking is directly outside the apartment (off road) or, if these are all occupied, there is ample roadside parking in the Riviera Shopping area on the other side of the road. The apartment sleeps 4 comfortably with two singles placed together to make a double in the main room and twin single-beds in the other. Lounge/Diner has furniture in Spanish country-house design with TV with Spanish and English (satellite) programs, DVD, CD player,cassette and radio. You will find most items to make self-catering a real pleasure. The bathroom has a bath with integral shower, the shower-room also has a washbasin and toilet. The new washing machine is located in the bathroom. Direct access from both double bedroom and lounge onto spacious terrace with ample seating. The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Mijas Costa / Riviera del Sol area
Riviera del Sol is located between Calahonda and Miraflores, It has several golf courses in the area and sports facilities a 5 minutes away (across the road). It has excellent bars, restaurants and supermarkets, all in the vicinity (including a mini-market open 18 hours a day, again, just across the road). The beach is soft sand with occasional rocky areas to provide hours of interest to children. There are umbrellas and sun-beds for hire by the beach restaurant. Guests planning to play golf are provided with information on GOLF Courses in the area with and the means to book with DISCOUNTED FEES on many of them.
How to get there
Nearest airport is Malaga. From here either by hire car (useful for day trips) or take a cab directly to apartment. Riviera del Sol is only a 25 minute drive from Malaga Airport from where you follow the signs for Cadiz and Algeceras. Take the N-340 then A7 (NOT AP7 which is the toll road).Just stay on this road, you will pass Fuengirola then La Cala de Mijas. Slowdown when you see the Miraflores sign on the right-hand side and look out for the Riveira Cambio de Sendido (a sort of dual carriageway roundabout to change direction). It's easier if you come off at the second Riviera Cambio sign (if you look left you will see Edificio Agua Marina just by the Cambio next to Max Beach. Use the underpass and drive really slow when joining the carriageway to go back in the direction of Malaga. Turn right in the entry in front of Agua Marina and REVERSE into an empty car parking slot (your may be supplied with a key for the extra spaces chained off). If arriving by Taxicab ask the driver to reverse right on to the yellow hatch lines by the entrance. Many "low-cost" airlines fly to Malaga like flymonarch.com, bmibaby.com,easyjet.com,jet2.com and britishairways. Cheapest car hire by booking over the internet in advance

Further details indoors: Bedrooms have built-in wardrobes, drawers, bedside cabinets. There is more seating on the balcony than indoors to take advantage of the nice weather and lovely view. This is a NON-SMOKING apartment (& Balcony) and NO PETS are allowed. SORRY, somehow these affect my asthma. The apartment now has a small digital safe for use by guests.
Further details outdoors: Fully gated community with beautiful gardens and a nice pool. You can sun-bathe by the pool or in the gardens.
Conditions
A reservation deposit of £100 per week required will secure booking, with balance payable 8 weeks before occupation. Of course, full amount would be payable for rentals booked less than 8 weeks in advance. We ask for a £99 (£199 for non-UK renters) breakage deposit that is returned as soon as the local manager confirms that all is well.
Usual check-in/out times: Arrival after 3pm and departure by 10am. This gives the local manager enough time to service the apartment. If you are arriving/departing outside these times or are arriving very late, we may be able to facilitate (eg. storing the luggage while the apartment is being vacated/cleaned etc.). If you would like to Arrive/Depart outside these times, PLEASE ASK if this is possible, in good time before arrival.
