The region is famous for its 320 days of sunshine each year and with its many blue flag beaches and its many golf courses makes it an ideal holiday destination. Aquaparks are also easily accessible.
A wide variety of places are in easy reach from the apartment by local transport such as Marbella 10km, Puerto Banus 15km, Fuengirola 8km, Benalmadena 15km to name but a few.
There are a number of various restaurants to suit everyone's taste in the local town along with family bars. Close to the complex there are some good restaurants, cafe bars and a mini-market and a supermarket.
There are shopping malls within 10 minutes drive or bus ride from the apartment.
Costal del Sol is the perfect choice for an enjoyable holiday experience for all the family.

The town of La Cala is a small coastal town which was originally a fishing village. Its houses are in the main white, and the streets lined with palm trees. It has a long clean beach (blue flag) which has received awards for enviromental, sanitary and safety standards. It is amongst the best in the Costa del Sol and a sought after destination. The beaches boast a variety of cafes/restaurants at which you can sample the daily catch. There are at least 10 golf courses within a 10 min drive from the apartment and one within a 5 min walk. A 5 min drive from the apartment is the Hipodromo race track in the hills above La Cala which is a great day/evening out for families and punters alike. As well as horseracing it has restaurants, bars and a range of entertainment for all the family. Within 10 mins drive of the apartment is the nearby town of Fuengirola which boasts a fantastic water park, zoo, castle, shops and a nightlife to cover all ages. Travel 5 mins further to the town of Benalmadena which has a famous marina, Tivoli world theme park, sealife aquarium and the famous Costa del Sol cable car. 15 mins in the oppsite direction from the apartment is Marbella with all its shops, restaurants,etc. and Puerto Banus with the rich and famous yachts.
You may want to explore inland and the famous pretty white villages.
Gibraltar is just over an hour away (don't forget passport if making a visit) and excursions can be booked locally if you don't want to drive yourself.
There is a market at La Cala every Wed and Sat which is well worth a visit and just a short walk from the apartment.

Malaga is the nearest Airport and is 25 minutes drive from the apartment.
There are many low cost airlines: Thomsonfly, Ryanair, Easyjet, Jet2, BMIBaby, Globespan, Monarch to name but a few.
Car hire is reasonable and there are many car hire companies, although it is not essential to hire a car.
Taxis are available from the Airport.
Trains are very cheap and run from the Airport to Fuengirola where buses and taxis are available for the short journey to the apartment.
