The apartment is located in an exclusive development designed in a modern Spanish Andalucian style with landscaped communal gardens and 2 swimming pools.
Spacious and modern with marble flooring throughout the main living areas, the apartment has 2 bedrooms (1 en-suite), 2 bathrooms and a large terrace (total apartment area - 160 sq metres or 1700 sq feet).
The 75 sq metres (800 sq feet) terrace area is fitted with glass doors which allows for all year use and can be accessed from the lounge and the master bedroom.
The kitchen is fully fitted with granite worktops and integrated appliances.
Fully air conditioned and furnished throughout to a high standard, this apartment provides you with everything you will need for a comfortable, enjoyable, relaxing holiday.
The apartment is also in a secure complex and has video entrance facilities. The development has CCTV cameras installed.
From the apartment, it is only a 5 minute walk to local shops bars and restaurants and a further 5 minute walk will take you into the centre of La Cala with it's many cafes, bars, restaurants and shops and of course, beautiful blue flag beach.
The resorts of Fuengirola, Marbella and Puerto Banus are a short journey by car or the excellent local bus service.

No smoking permitted in the apartment. Guests can smoke on the terrace area outwith the glass doors on the terrace.
Out of consideration for other residents the playing of loud music is not permitted
Pool towels are not provided.
Sun beds remain in the apartment. Sun beds are provided at the pools
Please do not remove towels or linen from the apartment.
No pets.
It is recommended that you take out adequate travel insurance.
Any accident of whatever nature that occurs within the booked accommodation for whatever reason is the responsibility of the respective client, not the owner.
This property is used by the owner as their home. Renters are requested to treat it as they would their own home. Thank you.
Conditions
To secure a booking a non refundable deposit of 25% of the total payment is required in advance with the balance paid 6 weeks prior to arrival.
A refundable deposit of £150 is also required. This is in case of any accidental damage. The security deposit will be repaid within 3 days following receipt of keys and satisfactory information that the apartment has incurred no damage.

NOTE - we will not charge for minor breakages such as glasses, crockery etc but would appreciate being informed of minor breakages so that we can arrange replacements.
Cancellation Policy
If a booking is cancelled then the following charges will apply;
6 weeks deposit plus 20%
4 weeks deposit plus 40%
2 weeks deposit plus 60%
1 week deposit plus 80%
Unused no refund
Deposit for breakages will be refunded in the event of any cancellation.

The Costa del Sol has over 320 days of sunshine a year, beautiful beaches and many golf courses. It has picturesque and typically Andalucian "White Villages" to visit as well as many places of culture and history.
Travel inland to places such as Mijas, Ronda or sip a cocktail in one of the trendy bars in Marbella, watching the world go by.
The Costa del Sol has something to offer for all the family, history, golf, shopping malls, sports, water parks and a zoo.
The Mijas Costa / La Cala de Mijas area
La Cala de Mijas is situated between Fuengirola and Marbella and is the central point of Mijas Costa, still maintaining something of its Andalucian village by the sea atmosphere. It has a long, well cared for blue flag beach with soft golden sand.
With a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops La Cala has something that caters to all tastes and budgets. There is a street market from 9.00am -- 2.30pm every Saturday and Wednesday selling local products such as fruit, veg, clothes, plants, flowers etc.
Within easy reach of La Cala are the resorts of Fuengirola(10 mins), Benalmadena(15 mins) and Marbella and Puerto Banus(20 mins). There is a regular local bus service to these resorts.
If you fancy a day away from the beach there is plenty to see and do in nearby resorts. Myramar shopping mall and cinema complex is in Fuengirola, and La Canada shopping mall in Marbella.
Also within the area is horse riding, Hippodrome (the only horse racing course in the Costa del Sol - 10 minutes drive),aqua parks, Fuengirola Zoo, Tivoli World in Benalmadena and Selwo marina and safari park in
Estepona.

The owner Carol was fantastic, kept us informed on all what we needed to know prior to our trip.The apartment itself is up a slight hill, which wasn't a problem for us and my 4 year old. The complex is very secure and gated, once through the gates you entered the immaculate gardens with the pools situated 200 yards or so from the room.Apartment is stunning, 2 large bedrooms, and a beautiful en suite, immaculately clean, balcony is beautiful to relax on, its massive.10 minute walk into la cala,through a great park for the kids,has a bar which was nice to have a pint while our little boy played. La cala is gorgeous,fantasic beach and restaurants,got a taxi back each night about 6euros. shame we couldnt book again as the family now want to go, will defiantely book again, thanks Carol Gary, Gill & James. This apartment is of a very high standard - cleanliness and layout - everything you could wish for and more! The surrounding balcony with loungers was great; also the glass curtains surrounding another inside area with two sofas and table was very relaxing. The town of La Cala and beach is very picturesque; lots of eating places. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the road which is very cheap. If you wished to go to other places this was ideal. I have booked again for next year and hopefully this is where I'll be going from now on. It was real luxury. I would highly recommend this property. |

Standard of the apartment was so much more than we expected, ideal for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Apartment had everything you would need for a self catering holiday and more. The huge terrace is amazing and a real bonus, especially if the weather is not so good. The owner has gone 'the extra mile' to ensure there are no hitches with the booking or when staying at the apartment. Top of our list of apartments in Spain.............can't wait to go back!! |

Whilst we are retired and went with grown up daughters, this is a property that we would recommend to anyone.
On private secure complex with well maintained gardens and good pools.
Modern and very spacious indeed with excellent facilities and equipment, very clean, and excellent value for money.
Large corner balcony could be divided off by sliding glass doors was good innovation and will be very useful off season in making extra useable space available in cooler weather.
Small selection of local shops -bars restaurants (including Japanese, Indian, Chinese, as well as British), small minimarket etc can be missed, as not easily visible when heading into centre of La Cala. Turn right before crossing main road to get to these. Much nearer especially for bits of shopping.
We did not use car, but one might be useful for anyone with mobility problems
Owner easy to contact and always helpful, and provided lots of information.
Owner also left details of local contact available if needed, which was reassuring.
Very peaceful and private at time of our visit.
La Cala is on bus route betwen Fuengirola and Marbella. Good transport links we found in Fuengirola (approx 20 minutes away ..fare only 1 euro 15).
Good cheap trains from Fuengirola to Malaga.
Only regret is that we were only there for one week. Wished it had been two.

This apartment and complex does what it says on the tin.
Very comfortable apartment with a great terrace and a first class complex with well maintained gardens and pool. Despite the below average weather for the week, we were very comfortable. Also the location of the apartment to La Cala and elsewhere meant we could sight see no problem.
Owner ensured that contact details in the event of assistance was available and all eventualities had been taken account of. Very reassuring!!!
All in all a real home from home and worth every penny in these recession hit times.

Just back home today from our trip. We had a fabulous time and really adored your apartment. It is just gorgeous. This was the first time we had been self catering since having kids and I think you have set an unbeatable standard!! The pool was a great hit too - the girls loved it and we had trouble getting them out.
