The apartment has 2 bedrooms (1 en-suite), 2 bathrooms and a large terrace (total apartment area including the terrace is 160 sq metres or 1720 sq feet).The kitchen is fully fitted with granite worktops and integrated appliances.
The 75 sq metres (805 sq feet) terrace area is fitted with glass doors which allows for all year use and can be accessed from the lounge and the master bedroom. The glass section area is shaded and the remainder of the terrace receives the sun all day, to the side in the morning and at the front in the afternoon and evening.
Fully air conditioned and furnished throughout to a high standard, this apartment provides you with everything you will need for a comfortable, enjoyable, relaxing holiday.
The apartment is also in a secure complex and has video entrance facilities. The development has CCTV cameras installed.
From the apartment, it is only a 5 minute walk to the Lidl Supermarket, local shops bars and restaurants and a further 5 minute walk will take you into the centre of La Cala with it's many cafes, bars, restaurants and shops and of course, beautiful blue flag beach.
The resorts of Fuengirola, Marbella and Puerto Banus are a short journey by car or the excellent local bus service.

The en - suite has a bath, shower and double sink unit.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds, fitted wardrobes and window with shutters. Next to bedroom 2 is a shower room c/w W.C.

CCTV cameras operate throughout the development
The rental cost is inclusive of Wi-Fi, utilities, air conditioning facility, bed linen, towels (not beach towels) and crockery.
Apartment clean is included in the rental rate (on arrival and departure).
In addition to the rental cost, a refundable deposit of £150 is also required. This is in case of any accidental damage. The security deposit will be repaid within 3 days following receipt of keys and satisfactory information that the apartment has incurred no damage.
No smoking permitted in the apartment. Guests can smoke on the terrace area outwith the glass doors on the terrace.
Out of consideration for other residents the playing of loud music is not permitted
Pool towels are not supplied.
Sun beds are provided at the pools
A letting contract is provided.
It is recommended that you take out adequate travel insurance for your stay
Please do not remove towels or linen from the apartment.
Any accident of whatever nature that occurs within the booked accommodation for whatever reason is the responsibility of the respective client, not the owner.
This property is used by the owner as their home. Renters are requested to treat it as they would their own home. Thank you.
The Costa del Sol region
The Costa del Sol has over 320 days of sunshine a year, beautiful beaches and many golf courses. It has picturesque and typically Andalucian "White Villages" to visit as well as many places of culture and history.
Travel inland to places such as Mijas, Ronda or sip a cocktail in one of the trendy bars in Marbella, watching the world go by.
The Costa del Sol has something to offer for all the family, history, golf, shopping malls, sports, water parks and a zoo.
La Cala de Mijas is situated between Fuengirola and Marbella and is the central point of Mijas Costa, still maintaining something of its Andalucian village by the sea atmosphere. It has a long, well cared for blue flag beach with soft golden sand.
With a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops La Cala has something that caters to all tastes and budgets. There is a street market from 9.00am -- 2.30pm every Saturday and Wednesday selling local products such as fruit, veg, clothes, plants, flowers etc.
Within easy reach of La Cala are the resorts of Fuengirola(10 mins), Benalmadena(15 mins) and Marbella and Puerto Banus(20 mins). There is a regular local bus service to these resorts.
If you fancy a day away from the beach there is plenty to see and do in nearby resorts. Myramar shopping mall and cinema complex is in Fuengirola, and La Canada shopping mall in Marbella.

Stayed at this apartment for a week in April and loved it,the layout is very spacious and modern .The outdoor balcony is exceptional and gets the sun all day.Dealing with Carol the owner was made easy by her making contact efficiently and answering any queries quickly.We had a car while staying here but would have been fine if you were having to walk as the town is only about a 15 minute walk.Would definitely stay at this property again and hope to in the future.

"Lovely, modern and spacious Apartment"
We are regular visitors to the La Cala area, this apartment is ideally located, very modern, well kept and the owners are extremely helpful and super efficient
It has wifi which is a great bonus

just returned from this apartment on our second visit to la Cala,had a great relaxing time, the apartment is pure luxury and Carol the owner, couldnt be more helpful.
Everything you need in apt and lovely complex with 2 swimming pools.
There is also a new Lidel supermarket opening close by which will be a boon
came home to rebook but found it was booked for next year, not suprised.

"Just what we wanted"
We returned just over a week ago feeling completely relaxed after having stayed at the apartment for a week. It's what we wanted and what we got.
The apartment is situated in a quiet are of La Cala, however I suspect it may have been busier if the severe downturn in the Spanish property market had not left the majority of apartments, on an ajoining site, being unoccupied. The gated complex is well cared for with two outdoor (what else!) pools.
It takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to walk into the centre for the supermarket or restaurants, however Lidl is building a supermarket which will be within a five minure walk but should not intrude on the complex.
I understand the cost of a taxi from the town centre to the complex is 6 euros - the exercise and the availablity of a shoping trolley from the apartment is enough to ignore any taxi.
Although we mostly ate in the apartment eating out was not expensive in the restaurant we used (sorry, can't recall the name of it). Although we did not elect for the package of a three course meal, bread and one drink for 9.5 euros it did look excellent value having seen the size of portions other diners were receiving.
The apartment itself is a good size with a balcony that covered 180 degrees, which allowed access to the sun or shade for the majority of daylight hours. Although the temperature outside was over 30 degress we never felt the need for the air conditioning during the day as the temperature in the apartment was comfortable.
The owner, Carol, is a delight to deal with and very attentive when any query is aked of her. .
Due to the 'value' we placed on having a break with peace and quiet we have booked another week for next year, which is rarity for use to return to the same place.There's a compliment in there somewhere!

"Fabulous, stunning apartment."
The owner communicated well and we had no trouble finding the apartment. The complex was beautifully maintained and the gardens were superb. That gave a great feel to the place right from the start. The pool is in an area tucked away from the buildings and provided a peaceful oasis with lovely palms and well kept garden. The apartment itself is stunning and the 'indoor terrace' is a real triumph in design. We had a truly great time, so hats off and a big 'thanks' to the owners.

"Amazing, fabulous apartment, worth it."
Excellent apartment. Well equipped, a real home from home. Comfortable, spacious, immaculate, great balcony/terrace for sun bathing and as we were three females on our own we appreciated the security system of the building and apartment. Enjoyed our twice daily walks to La Cala which had an excellent selection of restaurants if you enjoy eating out. Would definitely go back.

"Beautiful apartment, loved every minute of it. Would go back tomorrow."
The owner Carol was fantastic, kept us informed on all what we needed to know prior to our trip.The apartment itself is up a slight hill, which wasn't a problem for us and my 4 year old. The complex is very secure and gated, once through the gates you entered the immaculate gardens with the pools situated 200 yards or so from the room.Apartment is stunning, 2 large bedrooms, and a beautiful en suite, immaculately clean, balcony is beautiful to relax on, its massive.10 minute walk into la cala,through a great park for the kids,has a bar which was nice to have a pint while our little boy played. La cala is gorgeous,fantasic beach and restaurants,got a taxi back each night about 6euros. shame we couldnt book again as the family now want to go, will defiantely book again, thanks Carol Gary, Gill & James.

Standard of the apartment was so much more than we expected, ideal for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Apartment had everything you would need for a self catering holiday and more. The huge terrace is amazing and a real bonus, especially if the weather is not so good. The owner has gone 'the extra mile' to ensure there are no hitches with the booking or when staying at the apartment. Top of our list of apartments in Spain.............can't wait to go back!!
