Home description

This beautiful house, which is only 40m from a wide sandy beach and two communal pools has 3 bedrooms, one en suite , and all with balconies and ceiling fans. There is also a family shower room.There are sea views from the bedroom balcony, and the fabulous roof terrace. The large lounge/dining room is air-conditioned, and has satellite tv, video,DVD and PS 2, and a cd player. Games for all ages are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, full oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. A toilet is also situated on the ground floor.There are 2 downstairs patios;the rear one is enclosed, and both, as well as the roof terrace are fully furnished. There is a fridge on the top floor next to the roof terrace, to minimize the energy expending in getting cold drinks whilst enjoying the wonderful sun-bathing opportunities of the fully furnished terrace, which has glorious views of the beach to the front, and mountains to the rear.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

The Costa del Sol is renowned for year round sunshine, and easily accessibllity.
Walking, sight seeing,golf, horse riding, flamenco, shopping , water sports, and lazing on the beach are but a few of the activities possible.

There are water parks, dolphin watching, an adventure park, zoo and safari park all within 10-30 mins drive of the house, or easily accessible by public transport.


Mijas Costa / La Cala de Mijas area

La Cala de Mijas is a working fishing village, with a full range of facilities, rather than a purpose built resort. Many refer to it as the best kept secret on the Costa del Sol - you can walk through narrow streets, and hear Spanish spoken, but also know that you will be understood in the bank or supermarket. You know that you are in Spain when you are here!
Unless you wish to explore the surrounding area, there is no need to hire a car, but if you do, there are several car rental agencies in the village that will arrange airport collection.
There is also a taxi rank, and bus service.


How to get there

La Cala de Mijas is 20 minutes drive from Malaga airport, approximately 7 km West of Fuengirola and 15 km East of Marbella. Taxi fare is approximately 45 euros.

The house is set in beautiful communal gardens, and there are two communal pools, with adjacent toilet facilities; one is freeform and with direct sea views, the other is at the rear of the complex, and is a traditional pool.
La Cala is a working fishing village, with a full range of shops( including a supermarket) bars banks and restaurants. The beach is wide and safe, and life guards are present during high season. There are several beach side restaurants, all contributing to make this a wonderful place for a relaxing stay.


Conditions

Small dogs allowed, but downstarirs only. Deposit taken in case of damage.
