About the home

A spacious 2-bedroom, 2 Bathroom self catering apartment in the prestigious Miraflores development at Riviera del Sol, Mijas Costa. The apartment is fully air conditioned and is especially suited for families as there are 2 main pools and 2 children's pools and just a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach with bars and restaurants. There is a supermarket just 5 minutes walk away.

The grounds are secure and safe so are perfect for young children There is an outside patio with table and chairs. There is a key-holder in the block that can give advice and sort out any problems during your stay.

Malaga Airport is only 25 minutes drive away.

La Cala 10 minute walk along a beautiful sandy beach is La cala A traditional Spanish village full of Spanish culture , restaurants and a market twice a week

Mijas Pueblo, or old Mijas is a picturesque ‘White Village’ high up in the hills .It is just 15 mins drive away.It a typical Andalucian village with narrow streets, colourful flower decked balconies, a vast choice of shops and restaurants.

Fuengirola:
A well established town with a railway connecting it directly to Malaga and the airport.It has long sandy beaches ,restaurants ,bars and a wide selection of shops including a large market once a week.
There is also a water park and zoo

Marbella
One of the best known playgrounds for the rich and famous on the coast del sol

Puerto Banus :
It is quite easy on a pleasant evening to spend several hours wandering up and down the marina pontoons, then sit in one of the many bars, watching the world of high-life strolling past you.

The Mijas Costa / Riviera Del Sol Miraflores area

Miraflores is an established, well maintained urbanisation .
Miraflores caters for all ages and tastes from sporting including golf and tennis to the more leisurely shops and bars, all within a short walk of Rancho Miraflores C

The local beach is a 5 minute walk down a steep hill (10 mins to come back).The beach is clean with a good selection of restaurants and bars . Or take a short drive to the beaches of La Cala, Calahonda or Cabopino.

Miraflores is centrally located on the Costa del sol so is a good base for travel. There are plenty entertainments for the children nearby, including Selwo Wild life Park, Fuengirola Zoo, Benalmadena Tivol World. The tax free haven of Gibraltar is about 1 hours drive,

From Malaga Airport to Miraflores.

Driving should take about 30 minutes.

Out of the airport go over an island with the San Miguel factory on your right .Keep in the Right hand lane and bear to the right signposted Cadiz not over the flyover. In about another 3KM ,bear right following the route marked E15 - N7 - N340 to Benelmadena / Algeciras.

Eventually you go underneath some cable cars and after about 17km the road splits up.

The left route sign posted E15 – N7 takes you onto the Motorway (toll road ). Keep right however and stay on the N340 Costa.

You will eventually pass Fuengirola on the left hand side ( sea also on the left hand side).

You will see DUNNS department store on right after about 23 /24 km.

(note along the Spanish main roads every kilometre is marked with a signpost counting down ie N340 220km, N340 219 Km etc) normally put on lamp posts at the road side main use we think is for route planning and addressing).

You will also see a light house after about 27km on the right hand side of road.

After about 31 ½ km you will see a BP garage on the left , pass Unicasa (bright yellow signs)offices on the left. You need the next turn about 400m further on . This is just before the KM199 marking.

Once off the main road turn left at small island, over another small island and right at the next. This should take you up a steep hill. Follow this road over the brow of the hill to a T junction. Turn Right and follow the road around a long sweeping right turn until just before a dead end.
