This luxury third floor apartment is situated on the Mijas Costa region of the Costa del Sol between Fuengirola and Marbella (approximately 30Km from Malaga airport). Facing southwest ,with a balcony looking out over the gardens and a low lying cluster of picturesque villas, views of the sweeping bay of La Cala and the ocean can be enjoyed.
The apartment sleeps up to 5 in 2 twin-bedded rooms (and double sofa bed in the living area). It has 2 bathrooms, large living and dining area and a fully fitted kitchen. There is under-floor electric heating to rooms with marble floors (all except kitchen) and air-conditioning to both bedrooms and the sitting/dining area and the whole apartment is decorated throughout in an attractive modern style. The balcony has sun awnings, outdoor furniture including sun loungers, table & chairs and this property is generally perfect for a sunny break for family or friends.

The Costa del Sol region


Known for its long hours of sunshine and mild winters the Costa del Sol makes holidaying enticing throughout the year.
Picturesque mountain villages such as Mijas, Casares and Gaucin are dotted around the local mountain landscape and along with the old Roman town of Ronda, make fascinating day trips.
Malaga has an historic castle, ornate cathedral and Picasso Museum.
Granada's Alhambra Palace reflects the Moorish influence of the area as does the Mesquita at Cordoba.
Along with superb caves at Nerja and Gibraltar, Estepona and the Sierra Nevada mountain range are within a day's visit for the more adventurous.
The Mediterranean and local mountains provide the perfect backdrop for many visits including Fuengirola castle set on the hill nearby.
The Mijas Costa / El Chaparral, Mijas Costa area
The closest beach is just 10 minutes walk away, over the pedestrian bridge which crosses the coastal dual carriageway. Two convenience stores are also within 5-10 minutes walk.
The beautiful beach of La Cala is only 5 minutes drive away and has a variety of shops in addition to plenty of golden sand. Just 5 minutes drive in the opposite direction is the town of Fuengirola with an excellent zoo, aquapark, marina, beaches, shops, restaurants and a busy nightlife.
Quality shopping is available half-an-hour's drive away in Marbella. From the excellent restaurants dotted along the nearby marina of Puerto Banus, luxurious yachts can be seen, along with the rich and famous.
Para-sailing, tennis, riding and mini golf are available locally as well as scenic walks, and horse-racing at the nearby hippodromo race track.
There are superb golf courses at Mijas and La Cala and many more within a short drive by car.
A cablecar ride and exciting safari-park can also be found nearby - there really is something for everyone!

Fly to Malaga airport - plenty of cheap flights available from most airports - check online for bargain prices and good late deals on flights.
From Malaga:
Either hire a car and drive to Chaparral - just 5 mins west of Fuengirola, or you can take a train from the airport to Fuengirola and then a bus to Chaparral (let us know if you need more details for transport upon booking).

we r just back from a very nice week in this apartment. everything is supplied and its very well finished. air-con could be better as it was in the 30's while we were there. the back bedroom had very good aircon but if u ran the aircon n the sittingroom and front bedroom together the temp wouldnt come down that much as the temp is set at 18 degrees and it was a bit hot at night time, but overall the pools (2) grounds and apartment is spot on. its very secure. security fencing and electric gate makes the place very safe. u can get a bus within 5 mins walk but u really would need a car. we couldnt find any major fault overall and we wolud have no problem in staying there again. its privately owned by a very nice lady, i never met her face to face only e-mails but she is very helpful with info of the whole area if u werent there before. the apartment is very well maintained by an english couple who are very nice and helpfull also who will meet u on arrival and are there if u need the them for any advice or problem. overall a very relaxed and enjoyable week. |
