Due to the fact that the complex is modelled on a typical Pueblo is extremely pretty with its whitewashed building nestling in well maintained and colourful gardens with tiled paths and beautiful shrubs - but it does mean that there are a lot of steps! So it is deemed unsuitable for the elderly or those with mobility problems.

Short or long lets can be arranged - just ask.
The Costa del Sol region
With its great climate you can enjoy a sun filled holiday in the costa del Sol most of the year!
The area is known for its lovely beaches - but a drive up into the hills will reveal its rustic and traditional side. The hilltop village of Mijas is a short bus ride from Fuengirolla and a favourite with tourists. From the square you can take a ride in a traditional horse drawn carriage or just take time to wander around the winding streets.
For shoppers - the leather here is well worth a look - excellent quality and usually a very goodprice - although you may have to do a little haggling!
From the town walls there arebeautiful views across the countryside right down to the sea. Lunch or dinner at one of the local eateries is also recommended.
The ancient town of Ronda is also well worth a visit. The drive up can be a bit scary with the narrow mountain roads and Spanish drivers – but the views en route and the town itself makes it all worthwhile. As a medieval town it is built n two halves – joined by a mammoth stone bridge which was the site of many battles and mishaps during old feuds. The museum below the bridge explains much of the colourful history.
The local sandy beach is a few minutes walk and a great pace to enjoy the seaside experience – with children’s play areas, beach bars, fish restaurants and quiet areas – there’s something for everyone!
La Cala town is charming with plenty of places to sit and enjoy a coffee whilst watching the local people get on with their working day. It also has a decent supermarket, and a great selection of restaurants offering everything from local Spanish cuisine to Chinese Indian and Thai.
For a livelier night you can take a short bus ride to Fuengirolla where there is a multitude of bars, and restaurants. There is also a good market there twice a week and a great selection of shops at all times.
For animal lovers the Fuengirolla Zoo is worth a visit as is the Sea Life Centre in Benalmadena and the Animal Park Selwo.
Fuengirolla also has a water park which is only open during the summer season – but a great place for the kids.
Another short bus ride in the opposite direction will take you to Marbella which has everything a sophisticated city can offer including a mind blowing selection of boutiques, bars and the occasional celebrity!
Coach trips to Gibraltar are also available from local tour operators – it’s a must see for anyone who visits this area – but watch out for the apes!
This is a great area for doing nothing or doing everything - it’s up to you!
