Home description

This new apartment has full air conditioning/heating, large corner balcony looking out to the golf course and mountains. A Juliet balcony is also off the lounge. Patio doors from the lounge and the main bedroom lead to the balcony. The apartment has private underground parking, fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops and state of the art Bosch kitchen furnishings. The apartment has video entrance security and is serviced by lifts which are ideal for disabled access.

The apartment is a 5 minute flat walk to the centre of La Cala and 7 minutes to the beach. La Cala is an unspoilt fishing village with plenty of fantastic restaurants and bars and a lovely beach. One of the nicest spots on the coast and being only 20 minutes from Malaga airport.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

The complex is on the golf course and the club house is 1 min walk from the apartment. There are numerous golf course in the region. El Chaperel, La Cala, Santana and many more. It is the main golf area in the Costa Del Sol.

The Blue Flag beaches of La Cala.The most prominent feature of La Cala de Mijas is its accessibility to beach areas. You can take a short walk down to one of the most beautiful and clean beaches in the area. These are great for relaxing on or getting the adrenaline going with some watersports such as windsurfing. For those who love to golf, there are several well-known golf courses within close proximity including Torrequebrada and Benalmadena Golf Clubs.

The Torreon is an ancient watchtower located close to the beach in La Cala de Mijas. As well as being a historical monument, many festivals and concerts take place at the Torreon in the summer months. For the kids, Fuengirola has a water park and a zoo. La Cala de Mijas has a variety of cafés, bars and restaurants onsite. As well as traditional Spanish food such as Tapas, tortilla and paella, you will find a wide range of international cuisine available. As there are many British ex-pat residents, British menus are a prominent feature in many of the eateries. Several bars and restaurants provide live entertainment including Flamenco dancing and live music.

La Cala de Mijas, still retains the heritage of its fishing port roots, and is now one of the most popular holiday destinations on the Costa del Sol. La Cala de Mijas has turned into a beautiful residential development from a sleepy fishing village. It is situated between Marbella and Benalmadena on the outskirts of Fuengirola. It manages to retain its rustic Spanish charm whilst fulfilling all the needs of its large population, many of whom are British ex-pats.


How to get there

Easyjet, BMI Baby, Jet 2, Ryanair and many more fly to Malaga from all UK airports. We can arrange pick ups for you and we can arrange a very cheap car rental firm that meet and greet you at the airport. The car is normally right outside, you sign the docs, pay the money and away you go. When you return they are at the departure gate to take the car off you. No queues and no fuss.
