Fully equipped for the small children. There are few stairs from the private garden to the apartment and also to the pool. Any lettings from 3 days up to several months are possible :). Smokers can smoke on the balcony or on the garden but not inside the apartment please.
The Costa del Sol region
Costa del Sol is all one holiday destination between sea and the beautiful mountains. Big cities Malaga, Fuengirola and Marbella are all worth of visiting and have many historical places to see as well lovely shopping places from the small narrow streets to big modern shopping centres. Mijas Pueblo, Rhonda and Casares are couple of nice little villages to visit near by Riviera del Sol as Gibraltar, Sevilla, Barcelona and Madrid are maybe your destinations during longer holidays.
The Mijas Costa / Riviera del Sol area
In Riviera del Sol there is micro climete which means more sunny days and less rain in Riviera del Sol than in other areas in Costa del Sol. It is well known about Miraflores Golf neibourhood in the top of the Riviera del Sol. Riviera del Sol is hill side and apartment Villa Harju is in the lower part of it but has excellent viewsto the sea because of the hill and because it is only 300m from the sea.
The beach bars listed extend from La Cala de Mijas along to Calahonda and it is well worth visiting them as you walk along the beaches.The majority have sunbeds for hire for the day. The food is similar in many of the restaurants but with plenty of Mediterranean specialities to tempt the palate. Fresh fish and paellas are the dishes I would especially recommended in these locations.
There are several small stores, restaurants, bar etc within easy distance of your apartment or villa. the shops are opposite a very peaceful and popular park (Princess Diana Park) and gardens. Also there is Shopping centre in Riviera - the Riviera Plaza and also supermarket (Opencor) 24/7 on the corner adjacent to the entrance to Riviera.
If you come off the roundabout in Riviera, drive along the Avda Polaris, for say 100 metres, you will come to Riviera Comercial. Here you will find a Car Hire company, Bars and Restaurants, a Pharmacy, Estate Agent, Reflexology, Gifts and Community Administration.
There is also a supermarket and many restaurants located at the top of Miraflores, or if you are travelling up through Riviera and as you come to the top of the Avenida del Golf, just as the central reservation ends, turn right and the supermarket is approx. 100 metres along this road, just passed a couple of bar/restaurants. It is handy for those people with apartments in Miraflores and those who own property at the top end of Riviera - towards the Auotvia. Have a look for it.

From Malaga airport to the apartment:
From the airport follow the signs in the direction of CADIZ on the N340 (A7). Keep on the right side in the direction of Torremolinos N340-Cadiz. Stay in the right -hand lane of the main road. Follow signs for Benalmadena/Algeciras E15/ A7. DO NOT TAKE SIGNS TO THE MOTORWAY recognisable by the RED CIRCLE on the sign PEAJE. Follow straight following signs for Fuengirola/Algeciras (A7 Alogericas Autovia). Follow straight passing La Cala on the left. You will see large MIRAFLORES sign right hand side of the road and bridge going over the road. You will see a sign 300m Riviera Cambio de Sentido, turn off at this sign. Continue straight up the road Avenida del Sol until a small cross roads. Turn left here into Calle Pollox and bear left. The apartment Nuber 9 is on the right-hand side.
