The apartment has been tastefully furnished to a very high standard and is situated a short walk from the very popular Los Lagos and Los Olivios golf courses. La Hacienda de Mijas Golf is located a 20 minute drive from Malaga airport. Fuengirola town with its great restaurants and shopping, or the popular beach resort of La Cala de Mijas is only a short drive, and for those who love to shop Marbella is only a short 20 min drive away. Puerto Banus and Benalmadena, offering fabulous marina, wonderful restaurants are varied nightlife for all ages, Montana Vista situates itself perfectly to give you a holiday experience you won't forget.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

The Costa del Sol enjoys a warm and pleasant climate all year round, which makes it the perfect holiday destination any time of year. Whilst you can be enjoying the sun in late November on the beach, only two hours drive away you could be skiing down the slopes of the Sierra Nevadas. With such a wide variety of things to do, and a climate that can be enjoyed all year round, what are you waiting for, make the Costa del Sol your next holiday, with Montana Vista being your base to explore everything this beautiful coast has to offer.

* Visit the lively town of Fuengirola, with its beautiful beaches and great shopping areas. For a great family day out head to the Fuengirola Zoo, the kids will love it! Only a 5 - 10 min away from La Hacienda de Mijas Golf.

* Drop down to Marbella to rub shoulders with some of Europes rich and famous, or just pop into one of the many fine restaurants or head into the port for the nightclubs in the evening and dance away the night.

Mijas Pueblo, The White Village.

This tiny pueblo is one of the most beautiful villages on the Costa del Sol. Set 428 meters above sea level, and boasting some of the most amazing views of the whole coastline of the Costa it makes it one of the most wonderful days out. The pueblo of Mijas is located only a short drive from the apartment, where you can spend the day wandering through the narrow cobbled streets. Mijas has become the home to many artists and writers, probably because of the breathtaking views and the benefit of being so close to the coastal towns as well. It would be hard to be lost for inspiration up here. There are also many craft shops with pottery and paintings from local artists. For those of you who are interested in the tradition of bull fighting, the town also has an excellent ring where there is regular bull fights held. There is also the donkey rides available most of the day and nearly all year for the children.

Visit historical Ronda, dating back to the 12th Century, and is one of the most popular tourist destinations to head to for its amazing views, the deep El Tajo gorge that the Rio Guadalevin runs through its centre. While you are here head to the 18th Century Puente Nuevo bridge and take a moment to soak in the views of the Serrania de Ronda Mountains. On this bridge you are standing 100 meters above a chasm. If you are here in September, head to the Feria Goyesca, where you can see modern bullfighting and get the idea of what the old traditional sport use to be about. At the bull ring there is a museum where you can read all about the history of bullfighting. Get lost wandering around the cobbled streets and take in the beauty of the stunning town mansions that are occupied by some of Ronda's most influential families. It will take you approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to drive from the apartment. It is possible to take a bus trip from Fuengirola to Ronda.

For fantastic skiing and breathtaking views, head to the Sierra Nevadas in the winter months. The Sierra's are approximately 1.5 to 2 hours drive from Montana Vista. All equipment can be hired up there, and it is also possible to take a bus up to there as well. The hire prices are not overpriced!

** Lowcost flights from the UK - Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch Airlines, Iberia - plus a load more
** Lowcost flights from The Netherlands - Transavia Airlines.

** For car hire we recommend www.carjet.com they offer very competitive rates and generally the lowest.
** We can also recommend www.malagacar.com - this a a broker, but always great prices and the car pick up is off airport so it is slightly cheaper. The car companies are generally only a 2 minute drive from the airport and the free shuttle bus to the company is directly outside of arrivals.

The Master and Second bedrooms boast the following - * Luxury beds - Super king size and singles. * Designer reading lamps next to each side of the bed. * Built in wardrobes with hangers for your clothes. * Hairdryer * Alarm FM / AM radio clock. * Extra blankets and pillows. * Safe for your valuables and peace of mind. ** It is possible to separate the beds in the master bedroom to accomdate single people as well. In this case the apartment can accommodate 4 single people and then a double pull out sofa bed.

The apartment has the following to keep you entertained when you are either unwinding in the evening after a hard day sunbathing or sightseeing, or whether you just feel like kicking back and relaxing on the leather sofas and soft cushions. * Philips wide screen TV with Philips Home Cinema system. * You can also bring your I-Pod with you, as there is an attachment on the top of the Home Cinema system so that you can hook your I-pod into the system. All attachments for the various I-Pod's are provided in the apartment. * Wireless broadband. So bring your laptop along with you if you need to keep in touch with work, or just love to surf and keep in touch with people. This is at no extra cost, but you do need to bring your own laptop. * Satellite TV - BBC1, 2, 3, 4, Cbeebies, ITV 1, 2, 3, 4, Movie Channel, and many other channels. A selection of over 30 DVD films from the Dukes of Hazard to the thrilling Perfume, the Story of a Murderer. There are also a few for the kids as well. * A selection of reading books - stories from crime thrillers to the slushy. * Jigsaw puzzles and a selection of board games - backgammon, chess, checkers.

The apartment complex has 2 adult swimming pools and 2 children's paddling pools. The complex further boasts 2 paddle tennis courts for those who like to get really active.

** In addition to the rental price, there is a fully refundable £100 (150 EUR) breakages deposit required. Once the apartment has been cleaned and checked, the deposit is refunded to your account. This deposit payment is required with the final rental payment.

** The apartment is checked before occupation that everything is working and that all of the contents are there, this is also done on your departure.

** All bookings made within 30 days of arrival require full payment. * Discounts are available on rentals of 2 weeks or more.

** Unfortunately no pets are allowed in the apartment.

** The number of persons (adults & children) must not exceed the number of sleeping places.

** Please note that beach towels are not provided.

** Remember that it is always advisable that when traveling to a foreign country that you take out adequate Travel Insurance to cover yourself and your family.

** We can also help with booking your flights and giving you suggestions on different places to visit.

** A friendly and trustworthy 'Meet and Greet' service is also available from Malaga airport at an extra cost. Your return journey can also be handled for you as well. If you would like to know more about this service, please let us know at the time of your booking.

**This truly is the 'Sunshine Coast'. Only 4 days of rain in 7.5 weeks!! We have been here since early February and are very reluctant to go home to less favourable weather in the UK. For all that time this lovely, comfortable, apartment has been our 'home' with everything that we could wish for and furnished to such high standards. Using 'Montana Vista' as our base we have been able to explore the lovely countryside of Andalusia and visited such interesting places as Ronda, Antequera, Malaga, Granada, Gibraltar, Mijas, Almunecar, Molina and Torqual. What stunning lakes and mountains! A really beautiful region with much fondness and hospitality shown. We have very fond memories of all these beautiful areas.

Back in the lovely apartment what impressed us the most? It has to be the fabulous sunsets over the mountains viewed from the rear balcony, strutting peacocks walking across the field behind us and the ability to have long lazy dinners with family and friends sitting out in the warm sunshine.
