Our apartment is on the ground floor but is elevated from the main large garden and pool area. It has a SW facing patio with a small private garden of its own, giving you privacy but quick access and full view of the pool, ideal for keeping an eye on children. The apartment is tastefully decorated and has air-con and sat TV. Within 5 minutes walk of the resort are all the necessary amenities such as transport links and taxi's, banks, supermarkets, hairdressers, restaurants, bars and of course the beautiful Mediterranean beaches with their charming Spanish beach bars, or Chiringuitos. Adjacent to the resort is the Aztec Country Club, Facilities includes 7 tennis courts, minigolf, competition size heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, restaurants providing regular evening entertainment and a pool side bar showing major sporting events. All of this in no way compromises the tranquillity and ambiance of the resort.

This 2 bed-roomed apartment is set on the ground floor in beautiful gardens with a large pool suitable for children, the terrace is elevated from the main gardens, giving full view of the pool and grounds.
The resort is only 10min walk from the beach and many restaurants, bars and shops are close by, but the tranquillity of the resort is not compromised by the outside facilities.

"Not suitable for People with young kids"
Taxi man that picked us up at airport said that we need a car & he was right. Three flight of stairs down from road level with two kids in pushchairs to the apartment not great. 10 min walk down hill to shops pubs etc 15 min walk back up hill with kids in pushchairs. Need to have car.
I think this is a fair comment, if you two very small children, however if you have older children the benefits of my apartment far outweigh the negative points raised here, especially the vantage point my apartment over the large garden and pool. Of cause the whole area of Riviera Del Sol is located on hill, but my apartment is not very far up and easily within walking distance of everything you need, although I do appreciate that in the summer of temperatures of 40 degrees, with two push chairs it could be difficult and would be more comfortable to have a car, but it is certainly not especial. I did in fact raise my first child to the age of 4 in the apartment and I am a non driver.

"Lovely apartment, beautiful gardens, very helpful owners"
I have stayed at this apartment 3 times over the past 4 years, due to it being so well located. As we perfer not to drive in Spain, we find it easy to get around from here. It is close to the bus links, and there are all the amenities we need in walking distance. We have always found the aparment to be clean and well presented, and as we like to go there in the winter we love the terrace, which gets the best of the all day sun.
Its always a pleasure to have you, I trust you will be back next year.

In response to this review,
I have taken it, both as constructive criticism, and a lesson in what can happen as a result of not having the correct admin system in place. As a direct result of the review, I have put new administrative systems in place. All guests are invited to fill in a form, that rates all items in the apartment as good, fair, poor or very poor, thus allowing me to monitor the condition of all items in the apartment, whilst residing in the UK, I can then make a clear analysis of the course of action to taken before certain items become unacceptable, although I was there February of this year and I fail to see how things have deteriorated the extent described, there have only been 2 families staying at the apartment since I was last there. Incidentally the photos of my apartment were taken last year, which is when the apartment was decorated!
I will also be leaving a copy of the most up to date Damages Report in the apartment, urging all of my guests to take a look at it, as soon as they arrive, and alert me to any problems they find with this as soon as possible, therefore there can be no question about who is responsible for any damages caused at the property.
When I informed the guest that she would not be getting her £100 deposit back, she became very abusive, and I quote “my husband is a nut case and I am sending him down there” and then not so politely inform me that, her husband was an expert at destroying people on the net, and he had done it to lots of people! At no point prior to this conversation did Louise mention the scratch on the TV. I did speak to Louise the morning after she arrived, regarding the hot water (which was only a switch that had been knocked off in the cupboard by the cleaner, who is easy to reach, if you know how to use your mobile when abroad) During this conversation I asked her how did she find the apartment, she said and I quote again “lovely” she did not mention anything about the TV at this point.
As for the taxi driver, I have never received any bad feedback from my guests as regards to him, or his cars, all of my clients have found him reliable, helpful and very cost effective. I find that most of my repeat visitors have used him again and again, and are always happy to arrive in a foreign country and be greeted by a friendly face, who knows how to get to the apartment, therefore avoiding a stressful time at the airport. As he lives in Spain, he does work according to the Spanish time zone and not British, I will be alerting all of my referrals to take note of this difference, so both parties don't experience problem of this nature.
As for the cleaner been at the apartment when guest arrived, she always makes up the beds in the apartment on the day the guests arrive, I don't really think that the beds should be made up a whole week before the next guests arrive! She also takes out the garden furniture, she then does a final sweep off the apartment. Check in time is 3pm but I am happy for guests to go to the apartment and leave there cases, this has never been a problem in the past.
I could go on and on defending myself, my property and the people that work for me, against these allegations; indeed it would be a long and not very interesting read. The fact remains 60% of my guests do return, many of my family and friend stay there often, I would not embarrass myself by sending people to conditions the guest describes.
This whole review is completely untrue, and it comes as a result of not having proper administration systems in place, which protects everyone involved. If you do have a rental property, I would suggest that you do put a system in place, and be very careful who you rent to, before you end up having to deal with a situation like the one I have just experience!
