LA CALA DE MIJAS: (4 mins drive)
The nearest town from the apartment, you will love the charm of this old fishing pueblo well-known for the quality of the beaches.
A great location to enjoy the sun and the sea or practicing some of the numerous sports it offers, like jet skiing, water-skiing or paragliding.
Apart from everything previously mentioned above, along the Mijas beaches there's a line of typical beach bars built on the sand, locally known as 'chiringuitos', where they offer a widevariety of seafood, paella or a cold 'tinto de verano', which is a glass of sweet red wine mixed with refreshing!.
CABOPINO: (5 mins drive)
Cabopino beach and marina, miles of beautiful sandy beaches with water sports, fishing. There is also a pleasant harbour, many restaurants are based in two main locations, chiringitos along the beach, and a host of restaurants around the delightful, beautifully proportioned harbour. Cabopino is one of the Costa del Sol's best kept secret.
FUENGIROLA: (10 mins drive)
Fuengirola has the longest seafront promenade in Spain, ideal for a nice walk at sunset and decorated with palm trees from one extreme to the other, flowers and benches to sit down and have a rest, and if we decide to walk to the port we'll find many leisure boat.
Nightlife is very lively with plenty of places to choose from. Most of the pubs, clubs and discos are located on the seafront by the port.
The Parque Miramar Shopping and Leisure Centre has an area of 119,000 m2, making it it one of the Costa del Sol's largest shopping spaces.
MARBELLA: (14 mins drive)
One of the most delightful promenades on the Costa Del Sol, with its classy restaurants and bars overlooking the beach front.
At the foot of the Sierra Blanca, and facing one of the most beautiful bays of the peninsula, rises the fascinating old quarter, a typical urban layout of Andalusia with whitewashed walls and façades decorated with barred windows. This beautiful image is combined with orange trees and geraniums planted in every corner.
In the heart of Marbella's historical centre is the charming Plaza de Los Naranjos, a renaissance square surrounded by noble buildings of the old quarter, the former 'Casa del Corregidor' from the seventeenth century, and the city's town hall from the sixteenth century.
MIJAS PUEBLO: (20 mins drive)
One of the prettiest villages in Spain conserving the charm of a traditional Andalucian "white village" with stunning views.
Mijas Pueblo is formed by narrow streets made with paving stones and delimited by white terraces, red tile rooftops, vaulted passageways.
Mijas is a village that will provide endless pleasant experiences for our senses, for our sight as well as for our taste, as we'll enjoy it's excellent typical gastronomy.
BENALMADENA: (21 mins drive)
Divided in three main urban centres: Benalmadena Costa, Benalmadena Pueblo and Arroyo de la Miel, we'll find a large amount of pubs and restaurants for all tastes.
We can enjoy the beach and Benalmadena Pueblo, that still maintains the Andalusian village charm and is situated in the top part of the municipality, with breath-taking views over the whole coast.
Puerto Marina has many different atmospheres and plenty of pubs and discos where a multitude of nationalities go out to have a great time each summer.
PUERTO BANUS: (22 mins drive)
Today, to talk about Puerto Banus is to talk about luxury, glamorous parties and high prices, although if you search a little, you may find reasonable prices for any pocket.
Puerto Banus is the chosen place for many rich and famous people from all over the world, so if you come to visit keep your eyes wide open, as you might spot your favourite actor visiting too.
The Puerto Banus area is surrounded by restaurants, and if we go for a walk we'll also spot some luxurious cars and yachts that are hard to find anywhere else.
If we are looking for something more “down to earth”, we can also fin several cafes and restaurants for all kind of tastes where we can just have a simple hamburger and can always visit the Corte Ingles in Marbella or the La Cañada Shopping Centre.

Estepona's old quarter is characterised by its narrow streets, that still maintain the original route from the 18th century, although many of its buildings are from before this time.
The main action takes place in two places of Estepona: the port and city center.

The Costa del Sol region

Riviera del Sol is situated on the coast midway between Marbella and Fuengirola, only a few minutes from the new AP 7 motorway access, and the national coast road the A7 (formerly the N-340), allowing access to Malaga airport in 30 minutes.
Riviera del Sol is a mixed residential and holiday area enjoying every facility and services needed to enjoy life comfortably. You will find banks, restaurants, shops, supermarket, chemist and a health centre are all to hand.
There are numerous golf courses on the Costa del Sol such as Cabopino Club de Golf, Club de Golf la Siesta
but the Miraflores Golf Club is right in the heart of Riviera del Sol.
Also you'll find The Aztec Country Club which is a sporting complex with very good facilities:
swimming pool, tennis courts, badminton courts, mini golf and a gymnasium, not to mention the beauty salon / hairdressers, physiotherapist and the proposed dance studio. It is open to non residents and provides not only excellent reasonable priced food, but evening entertainment for all ages.
