POOL AND SPA: There is a large pool in beautiful gardens that are perfect to relax in and the nearby luxurious Spa has hydrotherapy and exercise pools, thermal rooms and a solarium as well as massage and other treatments.

DINE in air-conditioned restaurants and on shaded terraces built in traditional Andalucian-style.

SANDY BEACHES of La Cala are just 10 minutes drive away and it is 20 to Marbella and 25 to chic, fashionable Puerto Banus with its mega-yachts, fashionable shops, restaurants, clubs, bars and vibrant night life.

FOR GOLFERS the 5 star La Cala Golf Resort’s 3 championship courses nestle in a 1,000 acre nature reserve between Sierra de Mijas Natural Park and the Mediterranean. Including the Leadbetter Academy, it is the largest golf complex in Spain and has been voted the best on the mainland. Stunning mountain scenery, breathtaking tee shots and manicured greens ensure every round is an unforgettable experience.

FREE GOLF* One free round of golf for use on any of La Cala’s 3 Championship courses is given for every two days of your stay, excluding days of arrival and departure. Rounds must be applied for and agreed by email at time of booking before deposit is paid. Free golf is not provided in July and August. Additional rounds in the summer are around 45 Euros, including shared buggy, payable at the Clubhouse. Fees are slightly higher in Spring and Autumn.

COURSES: CAMPO EUROPA course is a par 71 and opened in 2005 - fairways are generous and greens slightly larger, not severely contoured but well bunkered and easier for the average golfer. CAMPO AMERICA is a par 72 with five par 5s. Hilly topography requires ‘carry’ across steep brush-covered side slopes but wide and more joined fairways make this slightly easier for driving. There are fewer fairway bunkers but water hazards on the 9th and 16th. CAMPO ASIA is spectacular and exciting with challenging holes guaranteeing a testing round of golf putting a premium on the approach shot. Water guards both greens at the 3rd and the 14th and tests golf course strategy. The 18th must not be over-clubbed off the tee or this lengthy par 5 could wreck your scorecard!

All bedrooms have twin beds that can be apart or pushed together, as required. All bedrooms have an en suite bathroom as well as large fitted wardrobe/cupboards. Bedroom 1 has direct access onto the main terrace and Bedroom 2 on the 2nd floor has its own private terrace.

The apartment is equipped with FREE WiFi Internet 24/7 and the lounge has a large flat screen TV with Satellite channels, a VGA cable for laptop to TV and an iPod/iPhone dock sound system . Bedrooms also have TVs.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven/hob, microwave, washing machine/dryer etc.

Free high chair and cot can be provided on request in advance.

Further details outdoors:
Large swimming pool near the apartment which is used only by guests of the nearby apartments. Sun loungers are provided and there is also a children's pool. The pools are surrounded by delightful, well kept gardens.

There is a lift to the apartment from both the ground floor and the underground garage.

A private parking space is available in the secure garage area and there is also ground level parking.

The gym, jacuzzi, sauna, indoor HEATED pool, tennis courts and restaurants are available at the La Cala Clubhouse at extra cost.

The apartment is in a prime position overlooking the gardens and swimming pool with views of the golf courses, mountains and Mediterranean Sea. The terrace is spacious and ideal for al fresco dining and sunbathing.

Whilst smoking is not allowed in the property it is allowed out on the terrace.

Wheelchair users are welcome - there is a lift to the floor of the apartment but please note all doors are of normal width and have not been adapted.

The Costa del Sol region

320 days a year of sunshine speaks for itself and means the Costa del Sol is the perfect all year round coast to visit with the certainty of hot summers and warm winters. The area around La Cala Resort has everything you could want to make your holiday varied and interesting.

The town of Marbella about 20 minutes along the coast is ideal for shopping and presents both the old and new faces of the Costa del Sol. El Casco Antigo, Marbella's charming Old Town, is a warren of whitewashed streets with authentic tapas bars and is a vibrant place to visit day or night. And don’t miss Marbella’s famous Orange Square!

In 15 minutes you can be in the quaint mountain village of Mijas with its narrow streets and white painted houses, donkey rides and small restaurants.

Along the coast road there is karting, a zoo, aqua park, Tivoli World and numerous other things to do - there's even a mountain cable car!

Further afield you can easily reach the historic mountain towns of Rhonda and Granada or take a bit longer and go to Sevilla or Gibraltar or even across the Mediterranean to Tangiers. The quaint seaside fishing town of Nerja along the coast is another ‘must see’ as are Andalucia’s nearby scenic mountains.

The Mijas Costa / La Cala Golf Resort area

A 10 minute drive from the La Cala Golf Resort is La Cala itself which is a relatively quiet fishing village with a lovely sandy beach and some excellent restaurants, including some specialising in sea food. There are also market stalls in the evening and a big market on Wednesdays and Saturdays with local crafts and produce on sale. This contrasts with nearby Fuengirola with its lively bars, restaurants, clubs and nightlife.

This apartment in just 25 minutes from Malaga airport via the AP 7 motorway. Either take a taxi from outside Arrivals, hire a self-drive car or we can arrange a chauffeur service to whisk you to the apartment. Airlines to Malaga include easyJet, Aer Lingus, Ryanair, Monarch, British Airways, Iberia etc depending on your departure airport. Full directions are sent with all bookings.

Booking Conditions:

25% of the rental is paid when booking to secure the reservation.

75% of the rental is paid 6 weeks before the first date of the reservation.

Payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer in Pounds or Euros.

For lets of 6 nights or less 3 nights will be at the weekend rate and the remaining nights at the weekday rate.

A damage/breakages deposit of one third of the equivalent of one weeks rent is payable 6 weeks before the first date of the reservation and is refundable within 7 days of last day of the reservation (subject to a satisfactory check-out).

The rental includes Wi Fi Internet, all utilities including electricity, bedding, linen, bathroom towels, pool towels and normal cleaning after checking out.

Check in time is 4pm onwards or earlier if the apartment is not occupied the previous night.

Check out time is by 11am or later if the apartment is not occupied the night following your departure.

Golf vouchers are as per the 'offer' above, exclude July and August, apply in 2013 and must be asked for and agreed by email prior to booking and before any payment is made.
